Hyperdimension Neptune. Awful game. I kinda did get my money back though since someone gave me 50 bucks for the stupid playing cards that came with the game lulz.
I respectfully disagree. Socom 2 was the best and then the series fell off. Socom 3 and 4 have been greatly overshadowed by the call of duty series. I played a 6-8 hours of Socom 4 out to give it a thorough try and then i just had to put modern warefare 2 back in the ps3.
Dead Space 2. Most of the game was good (not as good as the first), but the end sucked major rear. I can't even force myself to go back and finish the game.
I needed a mic for Rock Band, my local EB Games was out of used ones that normally sell for $15.00 and this game was $20.00 new so I bought it for the mic.
I wanted to trade it back after I bought it, I would have taken a dollar but it didn't even have a trade in value. On the plus side, I got a nice new shiny case.

Did you play the beta? I wouldn't think much has changed. Yes i buy a lot of games though. Prob 25 a year. Socom just bored me when I played it more. Call of duty i prob have put in 450 hrs and still loving it.
After months of waiting, I finally found GTA IV. I immediately grabbed it, bought it and when I got home I played it for about 5 hours straight and I still wasn't having ANY fun. It's just gotten to realistic. I don't like realistic games that much...it's a game..games are fun. I'll just stick to Saints Row 2 and GTA: SA :]

Black Ops. I can't even force myself to finish the story mode, and the multiplayer is incredibly boring. Zombie mode is the only reason I haven't sold my hardened edition of the game.
Halo: Reach for sure... other than that I haven't actually bought many games so far this year, just because I'm a broke college student... but I've got a job lined up for the summer, and that should bring in some games that I regret buying
Call of duty black ops........ I'm couldn't even finish the story line, I'm done with call of duty series. going to stick with battlefield. I also fell for all the hype for Crysis 2 and I'm having trouble finishing it too. It's cool at first but gets old.

For me, I usualy do enough research and know enough that I'm almost never disappointed by games, that being said: R&C Future:TOD, Demon's Souls, FF13 and every COD game after COD4 are all games I could have definitely lived without.
In the middle of GTA IV and I am having a tough time getting into it. It might be due to a lack of a long play session. Although hoenstly, the game is just getting underway, so I need to log a few more hours before I give up on the game.
UT: 3. First game I bought for PS3. The flashyness had it's hooks in me for about 3 hours then I was off to playing demos. Black Ops. It just got so boring. Made me have a new appreciation for eBay.

But for the sake of making this post relevant; I would say that the wost game I've bought this gen is X-Blades.

I haven't really come across a game that I regret buying. The closest would probably be FF XIII. The whole game felt like a chore, but when I reached Gran Pulse, I started to get into it.

Fallout 3 for me, I'm not sure why I bought it because I didn't like the look of it from the very start. At least I didn't pay full price for the damn thing.

Yeah another one for Fallout 3. Definitely one of the dullest games I've ever played and I find myself so bored when I play it that I don't feel like doing anything lol.
