I actually liked X-Blades lol. Haha, you may be the only one. :P[QUOTE="WhorrorLoLz"]I don't really regret buying any game. All the $60 games I've bought, I damn well made sure that I'd like them. The crappy games I've bough, I spent no more than $20 on so it's no big deal. But for the sake of making this post relevant; I would say that the wost game I've bought this gen is X-Blades.GEE_WIZZ
Dead Space 2. Most of the game was good (not as good as the first), but the end sucked major rear. I can't even force myself to go back and finish the game.
coasterguy65
Compared to the first its pretty meh because it was nowehere near any bit scary at all. And you are spot on the end sucked big time. I kept waiting for the big finale or the next part to happen and then suddenly it was over. Talk about an anti climax
I like all the games I have. I haven't been dissapointed on PS3. The on;y game I didn't like was Fallout 3, but I borrowed that from a friend. For any other console, it was TvC on Wii, not into fighting games, but thought I'd give it a shot.

Crysis 2... man how I overhyped that game.
MarcRecon
....I can't let you go down alone bro, I was part of the Crysis 2 hype machine also! Other then that I think we both have been solid in our decision making when buying games!!!!
I also find it amusing how we both had Crysis avatars before the Crysis 2 release, and then after it released we both switched to something else. :P
What game have you bought this year that you just wish you could get your money back for?? Mines Socom 4.
GreenPatchSky
None honestly. I have purchased Dead Space 2, Killzone 3, and Crysis 2 so far this year and have loved them all. I'm about to buy Socom 4 after just confirming the MAG engine is in fact powering it.

I really did like the Image of the Nano suit(I will be using it for something else) but I just didn't feel right having it represent me in the gaming community considering I wasn't totally satisfied with the game.
The thing that kills me is that NOW Crytec is trying to blame the consoles for the lackluster reception for Crysis 2. Crysis 2 had the potential to be great, they just should have left it on the PC and waited until NEXT-gen to put it on the consoles....see what GREED will do for ya!!!
GOW3 - 90% cutscenes and QTEs... guh
Uncharted 2 - most over hyped game of all time, screw that game and screw U3
Resistance 2 - not nearly as fun as the first
GTA4 - I wanted to toss that #$@ cell phone in the river, not to mention the worst driving mechanics in the history of gamekind
Dragon Age Ultimate Edition. Most overated game I have ever played, but I did play and beat the original + awakening so It wasn't exactly terrible just felt broken on consoles.
Also just recently picked up White Knight Cronicles for $29.99. Have a love hate thing going on atm.

Two Worlds II was the worst game I bought lately. EB gave me $50 off a MK pre-order so it's all good.
Socom 4 is awesome btw.
Assassin's Creed II... utterly Boring...I cant even force myself to play that game at all anymore... and its been probably roughly 9 to 10 months since that disc has even been inside my ps3. Not to mention the game is WAY to slow paced.
Another game for me would be F.E.A.R. 2... don't even know what I was thinking when I bought that game..
COD BO... need i explain..
and Madden 10... Worst Madden to be pushed out by EA.. an that's not saying much. But I have 20 total games.. so 3/20 being horrible isn't too bad in my opinion.
hmm nobody said portal 2 or mortal kombat... makes me want em that much more.
and i would have to say mvc3 and bfbc2.
mvc3 for the gayyyyy air juggle, and bad company 2 for a few reasons. 1 is being sniped from across the map by smg's and shotguns, and just not as "tight" control wise.
white knight chronicles.. it was just ok, plus my friend who promised to play online with me never did.
Dragon Age II. It's so shallow and slipshod. I had moderate fun playing it, but it's so dissapointingly watered down. It's the type of game that can send me into a rant about its flaws, so I'll just end it there.
@Brawnze
DO NOT SPEAK ILL OF GTA IV! Just kidding :).I do understand your reasoninng and it really just depends on what you perfer. As much as I liked the cartoony-ness of GTA SA, I kind of like the realistic-ness of GTA IV more and still play it today.
Ok, sorry to go off-topic.
Bayonetta
Soul Calibur 4
Burnout Paradise
thats all i can think of right nowspawnassasin
bayonetta and burnout paradise are two of my fave games this gen! i think they stand out as testaments to their respective genres SC4.....meh, i skipped SC this gen since i didnt really feel like it brought anything new to the table
Nothing really. I extensively look into games before I buy them, because I really hate buyer's remorse. :Pdk00111yeah me too bro! especially considering the cost of each "new" game.
For me it was Dragon Age 2 (such a missed opportunity!!!) and Killzone 3 (I want my singleplayer campaign to be as good if not better than multiplayer)
Why is this? I got just the BETA and loved it... The thing is other than "Army Of Two" I hate third-person shooter games. So liking even the BETA says a lot. For me it would be MAG. Just cannot seem to get into it... I'm on S.V.E.R & bought an additional character slot for Raven... Just don't like the game, only reason I bought was for the bluetooth headset. What game have you bought this year that you just wish you could get your money back for?? Mines Socom 4.

Marvel vs Capcom 3. Just found it boring, and didn't like that pretty much every character had the same button input.
Dragon Age Origins: UE: The battle system was okay, but hated everything else. Story was dull, characters weren't interesting and the fade had to be the worst level ever created.

Hell yeah, +10 on this one, ;)
Can't say I've ever run into that problem, as I always thoroughly research and feel a game out before I buy it. Plus, my good 'ol woman's intuition doesn't steer me too wrong either, lol. Simply put, if I'm not feelin' it, I'm not buyin' it.
Yeah i hated the Fade also, i did that one first because of how bad it is.Marvel vs Capcom 3. Just found it boring, and didn't like that pretty much every character had the same button input.
