Ever played for 24+ Hours?

GT4 24hrs of lemans.. I wanted to run the ToyoGT but the AI was to stupid to run upfront with it. So I pretty much ran 15-20hours with it. Probably took in all about a hour worth of a breaks.(AI ran a stint when I took the break x3)

I like enduro racing what can I say. I didnt have a job back than so it made it easy.

I have only played games on three occasions for more than 6 hrs straight. Once was back in 2002 playing MGS2 again, and trying to speed through it. I finished at around 11 hrs later. I also played CSS a couple of months ago from 8 PM to 6:30 AM the next morning. I was on fire so I did not want to stop. The last time was in 2004 when a couple of friends were at my place for the night and we were playing Halo 1 for around 4 hrs. Playing games for more than 3 hrs or so straight gets boring and then I need some socializing. I usually go to the gym or play basketball to clear my mind.

played madden 09 9 hours straight on launch day (how ironic)

and maplestory for 7 hours straight

I played from 11-5:30 straight through and BEAT THE GAME!

so thats about 6 1/2 hours the longest ive played.

the longest i've played i think it was like 14 hours or so But when MGS4 arrived i didnt play to much because i was afraid of knowing the future of snake so i gave it time to appreciate his epicness slowly until it finally ended such a Godly game cannot be developed by humans maybe all in kojima productions are aliens or something.

Ooh ! and BTW something Happened to me last Thursday when i was driving home , i had a couple of miles to go, then i looked up and i saw a glowing orange object in the sky, to the east, it was moving very irregularly, suddenly there was this intense light all around me , when i came to i was home with MGS4 in my hands :P

I know. I've never played for more than 5 hours straight.

Not for 24+ but I have stayed up pretty late playing. I consider myself more of a night player, getting on my ps3 around 10:30ish and staying up till 4:00 on COD4.

@ Lan parties, sure, but never on the PS3.

my longest playtime on the ps3 is 49hours and 37 min, i'm new here btw, just thought i should add that,

anyway half the time i'm up it's video games, not to sound addicted or anything, i'm smart to so it's not always video games, ya it turned out my mom stoped my game streak, it's a good thing though, my eyes were blood red, but cronic insomnia helped mostly.

26 six hours record playing final fantasy VIII. I was young and a weekend with no money was just the perfect moment for that, also the story was so good I just couldnt stop playing, just stopped for lunch, dinner and a couple of times to go the bathroom.....how i miss my youth :P

Not that I am a genius, but wouldn't this be bad for your system??? even just 10 hours straight.

The most I have played is 5 hours of GTA IV before I had to shut it down due to a headache, I wasn't tired at all though.

GTA4 made me feel like crap too after a while. Certain games can give some people a little motion sickness (ie headache or overall crapy feeling).

As for the system I don't think it will hurt it to use it for several hours in a row as long as it is in a well ventelated area. It was designed to be "on".
