Future Grand Theft Auto Games

As Rockstar Games are recreating the Liberty City look, do you guys think they will do the same thing with Vice City and San Andreas? Or they'll do a diffrent city such as Chicago or Seattle, Or even a diffrent country?

Liberty City-New York City

Vice City-Miami

San Andreas: Los Santos-Los Angeles, San Fierro-San Francisco,Las Venturas-Las Vegas

Well vice city is a fav. And a next gen recreation of that would be sweet. But also SA is a fav. And that place is just huge. Were talking Vegas, LA, San Fran, And the desert between Vegas and LA. "shown in a old vid I just did?"

But you know the fictional areas of those. San Franino, or whatever San Fran is called. But to do that at a Next Gen level would be a major task. Im not sure if that can be done.

Or they could go fictional Tokyo or Paris or something. I dont think they could go wrong either way. So long as its a different story.

But im going to go back to playing this Army of 2 thing, and stop posting for now. Games :)!!!

I don't follow your logic:? You've obviously never played GTA London! When GTA 4 was confirmed by R* the internet was rife with rumours that it would be set in London.

europe would be awesome but i lover vice city. If they made another vice city id go crazy for it, probably because i live in florida on the beach.

Heres the thing. For those of us that had GTA2, and we looked at the map given with the game, it showed Liberty City, San Andreas, and I think Vice City on the map. And obvioulsy all these citys were used in future GTA games. So based on this map, there should be no more GTA games. But somewhere on the internet, there is a picture of the airport where you first land at in SA, which shows all of those citys, plus Tokyo. So based on this, the next one could be there.

But who knows, maybe they just did that for fun. I was actually thinking that Philly would be the next place for some reason, if there was a new one. Detroit would be horrible. Everything is run down, excpet for the inner-most part of the city, near Comerica Park and Ford Field.

Also think about all the citys in the GTA games. Las Vegas is covered in San Andreas, which also has a lot of beaches and water, and had some mountains. New York is covered in the next game, which is just a big city. The country (think western) is also covered in SA. What is left to have in a GTA game in America?

I kind of wish they would mix things up a bit by choosing a more unlikely city as its setting. It seems like the same few cities are done to death over and over again (NY, Chicago, Miami, LA) in a lot of video games.

They should try something different for a change, like a mid sized city in Europe or Asia. Or a midwestern US city like Cincinnati, or Pittsburgh. Or maybe even a Canadian city, which would make for an interesting setting in the winter. Try evading the police in 2 feet of snow. :wink:
