i have a pc :) i play some wii at my girls house :) i play a little 360 at a friends house, i have a ps2, a gamecube :) i think thats more than just one console in my experience the ps3 is the best, at least for me :)

i think the ps3´s future is gonna be great or good or whatever u wanna call it if u are a ps3 owner only or a multiple console owner i only have one next gen console (ps3) cuz that was expensive and i cant afford a new one right now, and when i had the money i bought an hdtv :) and im as happy as ever, btw yeah there are several videos of home showin the 3d trophies and the trophy room where u get to show em to your pals, i have played the 3 next gen consoles and i find the ps3 the best for me, every one has its own opinion some prefer wii, 360, some still prefer playn nes, but its a question of taste i guess

Well I guess a 3D representation of the trophy would be pretty cool, but again that neither makes them better or worse then the 360 acheivement system. In my eyes they are equal.

See I own all three but I prefer gaming on my 360 so I only pick up the GOOD exclusives for PS3 which I have already completed them all. So now I'm waiting (again) for them to drop something else for me to play.

The PS3 is by no means a bad console I just hate it that PS3 fanboys run amuck without having ANY knowledge on the situation whatsoever. Most claim dominance without ever even LOOKING at a 360. It's like they only wanna swing around a virtual **** so they can be number 1.

All this is well and good but as many people have stated on here, Sony is so far behind.

I got my PS3 back in March, the only Next Gen console I've invested in. I look at how long the Xbox 360 has been out, how long the PS3 has been out...and I find it quite depressing that 1. Sony is dragging behind the Next Gen Convoy and 2. Xbox 360 has had all the things sony is getting soon since its release since, what? 2 or 3 years ago?

And it doesn't help that Sony promises these things and yet takes their sweet time releasing it.

xbox has pretty much all those features minus weather and mgs4. I never got into the mgs series and those weather things lie. Home is useless. I turned on the console to play games not walk around like a bum. Trophies; lame. I'd rather have a cummulative number. Although i do find trophies and gamerpoints irrelevant but achievments themselves are pretty sweet and addicting to get. In conclusion: no to everything you saidl3laZeX3

I must say if I was u and had a 360 also I would also buy most of my games for 360... i mean come on I pay for the online of coarse I will get it for 360. The point I think some of the so called 360 fanboys and PS3 fanboys are missing is that people that only have a ps3 are excited because now they are on equal playing ground as the 360. I for one do not have a reason for getting a 360 now... well except for Gears of War 2(that looks sick), but other than that I think both consoles are on even playing ground.

There is not to much a 360 owner can say bad about a Ps3 now you know...

Ok let's put aside our bashing and differences and let's simply discuss the statement.

First off regardless of weather you own or owned all three you ARE a PS3 fanboy as much as I'm a 360 fanboy! Fair enough to say?

Ok so you say 360 is going downhill. I ask to you why? Why do you think that? Because PS3 FINALLY released an awesome game other then overhyped average exclusives? What makes PS3 "better" then the 360 when essentially (minus Blu-ray) they are the same console. In terms of games and features they are neck and neck. I know why I like 360 more but I would like to see why PS3 owners who DO own a 360 or DID own a 360 feel the other way? See I own them both NOW and will continue to own them until the next gen starts and I have given the PS3 MORE then enough chances to win me over and it simply does not. They say the third times the charm well I gave PS3 15 charms and none worked. Did I love MGS4? Yes! My favorite game this gen thus far but it's not enough to claim PS3 the better console this gen. Please enlighten me perhaps you can show me something I'm missing, see i was a DIEHARD PS fan PSone and PS2 and wanted to love PS3 so badly but I see the holes in the black liquor armor and realized it's all smoke and mirrors hidden behind the hopes of Blu-ray success and empty promises.

Was there proof of the trophies switching to 3D once HOME arrived? I didn't hear that. The latest news I heard was they were strictly 2D. Even so there is no big deal over 3D trophies. They are no more no less then the Xbox 360 achievements system. They are equal but what erks me is Sony fanboys (blind ones I mean) shouting how everything Sony has is better then the 360 version even if it isn't simply because they are brand loyal. It's really quite sad

I mean my only reason to consider getting a 360 now could be for Gears of war 2 because everything else I would rather play on my PS3 or play it at my friends house... but who knows if 360 keeps cutting prices I may get me one next year or two... well thats if they are not talking about the 720 already.

But once again... Good job TC show your excitement for your purchase... but ease up on the 360 comparison... you know how sensitive people get on here.

Ok let's put aside our bashing and differences and let's simply discuss the statement.

First off regardless of weather you own or owned all three you ARE a PS3 fanboy as much as I'm a 360 fanboy! Fair enough to say?

Ok so you say 360 is going downhill. I ask to you why? Why do you think that? Because PS3 FINALLY released an awesome game other then overhyped average exclusives? What makes PS3 "better" then the 360 when essentially (minus Blu-ray) they are the same console. In terms of games and features they are neck and neck. I know why I like 360 more but I would like to see why PS3 owners who DO own a 360 or DID own a 360 feel the other way? See I own them both NOW and will continue to own them until the next gen starts and I have given the PS3 MORE then enough chances to win me over and it simply does not. They say the third times the charm well I gave PS3 15 charms and none worked. Did I love MGS4? Yes! My favorite game this gen thus far but it's not enough to claim PS3 the better console this gen. Please enlighten me perhaps you can show me something I'm missing, see i was a DIEHARD PS fan PSone and PS2 and wanted to love PS3 so badly but I see the holes in the black liquor armor and realized it's all smoke and mirrors hidden behind the hopes of Blu-ray success and empty promises.

First off you;re right! I'm hardcore with my gaming overall and I have the means to have it all. I get ALL the big name games on release I mean HELL I even got wiiFit the DAY it came out. So being that I own all three and played and beat the best each has to offer so far I feel I have the right to say what I say, I don't simply bash the PS3 because I can or hate it I just get pissed when PS3 fanboys make their little comments like the TC did. Sure it's cool to be excited for the features coming with 2.4 but was the comment about trophies being better then achievements necessary? It's like how do you know if you don't even own a 360?

Ok I'll give you you're a gamer. I don't think the 360's lineup is strictly shooters when PS3 has just as many shooters itself. Besides MOST action games have guns in them lumping them into the shooter category. Gears is no more a shooter the MGS4 is but since guns are used in both games are they considered shooters? To me shooters are FPS game. Yes most of the 360 exclusives are on PC, but let's face facts MOST people do not have the means for a rig that can run the games coming out now AND on top of that ALOT of people do not game on the PC this is strictly a home console vs home console discussion no other variables. I find MANY PS3 owners or 360 bashers yell "360 exclusives I can get on PC" when more then HALF of them do not game on PC or have the intention to OR would never front the cash to upgrade their machines to run them they simply use it as a defense or reason to bash the console. I won't say you don't have the intention I'm just saying it's a fact. As far as features go name what other features PS3 has over 360 other then it's lousy webbrowser? See if PS3 defenders wanna use 360 exclusives I can get on my PC well I can browse the web better on my PC and I don't have to spend money to upgrade it to do so.

No I enjoyed Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank and Heavenly Sword. They were in no way amazing games and in fact were simple and over hyped by the Sony fanbase. The games I played on 360 were far and away better and you're right it's exactly that my opinion but the point is why is it ok to downplay 360's games or features and not the PS3's because when it boils down to it EVERYTHING from EVERYONE is a matter of opinion. MGS4 might be getting STELLAR reviews and praise but it's opinion not fact. I know PLENTY of gamers who hate it or simply think it's overrated who ARE PS3 gamers.

I honestly don't know whats the point of the Achievments on the 360 and is the point of trphies on the PS3, but I guess its cool...WR_Platinum

I don't go out of my way to get them, but I wont lie, it is nice when you unlock them.

Problem is I play a LOT of a single game at a time. Like NHL08 or CoD4, so I don't really get a ton of achievements.

And wow you compared Gears of War to Metal Gear Solid 4... wow. Sorry to say this but Gears of War is a Great Shooter and MGS4 is a great Adventure game. Trust me there is a difference.

Honestly, it's a lot like GTA to me, at first it's massive and you get sucked in. The hype train sweeps you away screaming 10. Then you finish, realizing it's pretty shallow in the end. The only saving grace is really the fact that GTA and MGS4 are the only GOTY type titles so far. I think MGS has a smaller niche crowd going for it, as GTA is loved by *almost* everyone.

I found the game a little too easy as well. I played on ... Liquid Normal I think...the second hardest option you have when you first start. No matter which route I took, blasting my way, or stealthing quietly through the game. I rarely hit any roadblocks. A couple of things did take some trial and error, but I was never really stuck because something was overly hard...I just like a challenge I know some will disagree.

You're going to hate it, but I'm going to complain about the cutscenes...There is such a thing as TOO many. When it starts to take you out of the game entirely, it's a bad thing. I enjoyed the story, but found myself frustrated with hardly ever getting to play. You play for a short burst until a checkpoint which unleashes...you guessed it, more cutscenes.

Not that it isn't a good story, it's just a lot of it was very unnecessary. I did love the gameplay though, just wish their was more of it, and that MGO was a little better. I still had my fun out of the game, but there you go. It's just my opinion so don't take it personally, and be glad i'm not the person choosing GOTY :)
