I dont know any details about the upcomming features but, IF the upcomming features are FREE, then there's no point comparing xbox360 and PS3.

I honestly don't know whats the point of the Achievments on the 360 and is the point of trphies on the PS3, but I guess its cool...WR_Platinum

It adds a bit of excitement, but it's not something I'm especially waiting for. Weather is cool, but I always turn my PC on for it. Home will be cool but I'm not very excited about it either.

However, I am looking forward to KZ2.

Edit: in-game xmb will be so awesome, of course.

Ok I'll give you you're a gamer. I don't think the 360's lineup is strictly shooters when PS3 has just as many shooters itself. Besides MOST action games have guns in them lumping them into the shooter category. Gears is no more a shooter the MGS4 is but since guns are used in both games are they considered shooters? To me shooters are FPS game. Yes most of the 360 exclusives are on PC, but let's face facts MOST people do not have the means for a rig that can run the games coming out now AND on top of that ALOT of people do not game on the PC this is strictly a home console vs home console discussion no other variables. I find MANY PS3 owners or 360 bashers yell "360 exclusives I can get on PC" when more then HALF of them do not game on PC or have the intention to OR would never front the cash to upgrade their machines to run them they simply use it as a defense or reason to bash the console. I won't say you don't have the intention I'm just saying it's a fact. As far as features go name what other features PS3 has over 360 other then it's lousy webbrowser? See if PS3 defenders wanna use 360 exclusives I can get on my PC well I can browse the web better on my PC and I don't have to spend money to upgrade it to do so.

And wow you compared Gears of War to Metal Gear Solid 4... wow. Sorry to say this but Gears of War is a Great Shooter and MGS4 is a great Adventure game. Trust me there is a difference.

When you call someone a fanboy, you have to look at yourself also. Mostly just fanboys use the term. Same for all the animal words in system wars. Lemming/Cow/Sheep/Hermit, if you use one of those words, you need to take a deeper look at yourself.

Why is it that if anyone has anything negative to say about the PS3 and claim they also own a 360 they are immediately a fanboy? Maybe not everyone is as passionate about their PS3 as others, but the defensive ones are the people who only own 1 console.

So the PS3 forum should just be a big lovefest? Leave all negativity at the door? I didn't see that in the sticky.

If I won the console war. I could rule the industry! First thing I would do is get rid of EA, and every sports video game franchise. Then I would make Koei do something different with Dynasty Warriors. I would walk into Square Enix and tell them to hurry the hell up. And finally(for now) I would slap every person at 3D Realms and tell them to apologize to the world.Volgin13

Yeah, that was done in some game already so *Yawn* Who cares about the weather when you have Television and the internet.. They should work on making accessibility better for online play. And work on HOME.

Ey everybody. Why comparing to other systems? Nintendo wii is just the same as 64 just with sensores in the remotes so that u get tired of playing games. The Xbox 360 is just the same as it's "brother", the Xbox, with only some new things like renting movies (apple tv) etc. Let's face it, if u don't have a DVD-player, Bluray-player, Gaming system, Computer, Internet browser, CD-player etc. Why not get the PS3, only machine u need for HD-movies, HD-sound, HD-Games, HD-everything. And updates keep coming. the PS3 is worth the money it costs.

Before i had my eye on the PS3, i had looked at some bluray-players, a wii and computer when i was moving into my new house, and it did cost alot to buy all that, + think of all the wires and plugs you'd have to plug. the PS3 had better gaming then the wii, better bluray system than standard bluray-players which couldn't get updated through wireless internet connection. I installed linux to the ps3 and bought extra 320 gb internal hard disk drive. All the wires required for a ps3 and a TV: The HDMI and power wires.

PS3 will continue to update and get better in both gaming and other entertainment than any other system on the planet.

Personally i think the overexitement is a bit over the top but i see where you're coming from. It's good that the PS3 is getting better and the fact that they have a trophy system is ( i must admit) a bit of a copy but buisness is buisness... and seeing how popular achievements are, it was a logical move.
