I think Killzone 2 is great and still play it from time to time. The loading times are my biggest gripe, really. But now that MW2 is on the scene, yeah, a lot less people are gonna be on Killzone. That's natural.
I have been playing Killzone 2 for the last 2 weeks, and have found no issues at all finding games to play in. In fact, I even find a lot of DLC games. Only at about 3-4am does there seem to be any noticeable game count drop. Other than that, it appears to be no more dead than it was back in the spring. I played last night and there were more than enough games going.
Killzone 2 is one of those games that flew right by me. Despite having a lot of fun with it and playing the multiplayer for a few days, I just had so many other games to play through. I do really want to play through it again, but I've got too many other games to play and now MW2. I'll return to it someday.
LOL. This. And it's not like the gunplay is that great either. Everything feels so sluggish and too realistic that it makes everything hard to aim at. And graphics do not make the game... In this case, gameplay should have been given more thought.
