Eyes aren't like limbs. Once you lose your eyes, that's it.

As of now, it's Solid Snake. The Kojima TGS page even says it is.salmo229

wrong, its possibke to have artificial eyes etc... They dont work like normal eyes but its possible. And also even if it weren't, MSG could "make" it possible

It's
not Foxdie that's killing him. It's cause he's a clone and he's rapidly
aging and his cells are breaking down. Remember, Foxdie kills you
quickly mimicking a heart attack. Snake would've died at the end of his
mission or even in MGS2 if it targeted him, and it wouldn't slowly kill
him. That stuff he's taking is to keep him alive, to slow down the
process. I'm certain that isn't Foxdie, cause logically (like I've
explained above) it would've been over way before MGS4, and it wouldn't
happen slowly. Also I think that maybe cause Foxdie cannot kill the
carrier, that or Snake just wasn't targeted in the first place.

Oh they knew alright. The Patriots never left anything unturned and I'm telling you it won't be Foxdie. The Foxdie protines were programmed for a select few (Baker and members of Foxhound minus Ocelot) and if they were programmed to kill Snake, it would've happened long ago (cause they were pissed at Snake for disappearing and joining Otatcon, hence the set up of the Tanker incident in MGS2). Foxdie doesn't affect Snake, cause he would've died right along with Liquid (also cause he's the carrier) Bidding on time and infiltration, you couldn't kill off Snake cause he has to come in contact with all Foxdie was programmed to kill. Snake is well alive even in 2009 during The Big Shell incident. But he was getting older. Solidus was suffering from the same thing he's suffering in MGS4, only in MGS4 (which is quite sometime after 2) it's in it's advanced stage. Cause he's a clone, plain and simple. His body and his cells are starting to die, and aging him at a much more rapid rate than a normal human. Foxdie isn't a virus, and it doesn't cause aging. Foxdie causes the cells in your heart to moreless "kill themselves" mimicking a heart attack (3:59 am, tired, I'm not using the correct scientific terms used in the game).

I know it can't be Foxdie, cause it's impossible logically.

Big Boss is dead. They state that he is dead in Metal Gear Solid. Why would he be in MGS 4, unless its some sort of flashback or he is resurrected?

In MGS3 you play as Naked Snake. After you defeat The Boss (a woman), you are told that you will now be known as Big Boss.

Big Boss is killed sometime after MGS3 and before MGS.

You play as Solid Snake in MGS and MGS 2.

second: he knows otacon

third: the eye patch is in the rong side

fourth: he knows meryl

fifth: in the end of the last trailer snake looks at the raven flying and smiles ( this means what vulcan raven says to snake in metal gear solid 1 "i will always be watching you") he remembers that.

Well that does make sense. I would be shocked if it was really Big Boss. I would rather play a younger Snake than an older version. But who knows. They might have a surprise for us and have been tricking us all this time. Truvietplaya
