how was it disappointing? I thought it was amazing. I'm a huge fan of the series of course I'd have to say Resident Evil 5. If I wanted a third person shooter, I'd play gears of war. Not scary at all. But still, it's a great game, just not a classic like re4 was.
Actually, I would like to change mine... the biggest letdown has been Splinter Cell HD. No Invert Y option ruins what could have been a beautiful experience.
I say Dragon Age 2 was the most disappointing game I played on ps3. After playing the first game with the adventure, the story, the twists, and the characters, the second one was a letdown in almost every aspect. Sure the combat was a little faster and better, but it turned into a button mash more than an action game. Also, having the game take place 80% of the time in the same city really felt limited. In the first game, you travel to swamps, castles, forests, the underground cities, the mage's tower, etc... Where do you go in DA2? Kirkwall, the beach, underground, and Kirkwall. Rinse and repeat. I just felt like Bioware could have done a better job all around with this game. I just didn't like the story; and most of the characters were forgettable. Only a few standout. Keep in mind this company was able to give us great characters like Saren, Malak, Garrus, Tali, Bastila, HK-47, etc... It was the first Bioware game I played that felt like a letdown. DA2 isn't the worst game, but its clearly the most disappointing and the biggest let down for me as a ps3 owner.

Well then I suppose you haven't read the the thread right here on this PS3 forum about the missing feature, the Splinter Cell HD forum at this site, joystiq.com, the Playstation Blog or the official Ubisoft Splinter Cell forum. A significant number of people can't play the game without an invert Y option, and there's no excuse for the lack of it's inclusion. For many players, it would be like playing the game with your feet.
I tried putting in hyperlinks, but it isn't working.
1. Burnout Paradise: All modes that where fun in Burnout 3 were ruined in this game. 2. Red Dead Redemption: I'll never understand the praise for this boring although good-looking game. 3. Assassin's Creed 2: same as RDR 4. Heavy Rain: I'll rather watch some HBO dvds. Resident Evil 5: I liked it. Playing on hard was a fun challenge. Not a perfect game but similar qualities as RE 4.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. I don't flat out hate the game but it was my most anticipated game ever and I had been following it when it was first announced and kept up with all the latest news and rumors about it, LA was saying it was supposed to be the next chapter in the SW universe etc. I had to put up with it being pushed back several time so by the time it was released I was uber pumped and was sorely disappointed with choppy gameplay, tons of glitches and a medicore story. Like I said I didn't flat out hate it as there were some enjoyable parts but considering how hyped up I was for it and for how long, I was sorely disappointed with it.
in my opinion infamous. to repetitive in side missions. it seemed average, for all the hype that was attached to it.

i wouldnt say it was THE MOST disappointing game but definitely agree with the reasoning im struggling to finish it =/ I enjoyed beating the bosses in this game for my little brother .
