Yankee fan here :evil: lol but A-Rod and Jeter are my favorite players :evil: :P.

Here are three more Wallpapers. The Big Boss one is a little blurry, but I added the blur on purpose because the original picture quality was pretty bad when resized to fit HDTVs. The next two are Final Fantasy XIII and vs. XIII, I did not make them, I just edited some of the bars and added the text on the vs. XIII wallpaper, because someone labeled it wrong and it just bugged me:

Consider yourself deleted from my friends list! lol jk. I'm a Yankee. I would love a good Jeter one. I'm two weeks (minimum) away from a Intel Quad Core (4x 2.4GHz / 8MB L2), 2x 8800GTS 640MB Nvidia GPUs, 4GB DDR2-800 PC.... can't wait. I'm going to put all my old games on it and crank up the graphics to the highest settings!!! :) After I have my fun I'll start busting out requests.

not sure what your definition of "sylish" is but i thought the pinstripes was a nice trademark touch.

anyway, the only picture I could find of Jeter doing his trademark play throwing from the hole, he honestly looks like he's "special"

If you'd like to give me some more direction as to what you'd want, I'll def. look into making it though.

That's pretty sweet. First thing I'm going to do when I get my new PC (right after turning up all the settings on every game I own) is download Gimp and have you show me how to use it. Is it a lot like photoshop?

I've actually never used photoshop so I have no idea. lol

So upon trying my previous Mantel Haze Backgrounds, that yellow is too bright for the white XMB text, so I went with a different style that I actually think is much better personally. Click for fullsize.

someone should make a video that looks like a background but in the bottom right corner there is the logo for games coming out for the ps3.

it would be a video. in the black box you could put the logo for games and have them fade out an a new logo fades in. nothing else would change besides the logo. it would cycle through 5 - 10 games. you could put the video on your ps3 hdd, view the video, put it in repeat, and hit the ps button. the xmb would pop up. instead of putting the logos of games you could put your favorite sportsteams. can someone make this? i would do it myself but i dont know how.

does the ps3 support .gif files? I was under the impression that it didn't, but if it does then I can add some animation to the backgrounds like fading out images.

EDIT :: I just went and checked and it will show the image but not the animation part of the .gif so my idea won't work.

Would some please make me a New York Mets wallpaper with their logo that's in script faded a little in the background with a picture of David Wright and Jose Reyes of opposite sides of the logo?

Final cost of my new rig... $4,400 (ouch... but good hurt). Can't wait, I have FEAR, 2142, Photoshop, CM 10th Ed. and much more to install on my new PC. No I haven't got it yet. Ordering it this Friday with 3 day assembly and 2 day rush delivery. Here's what the case will look like.

2x 8800 GTX Ultra

1TB HDD, Q6600 (Quad Core 2.4GHz), 4GB RAM DDR2-800
