||Introduction||

PlayStation Home is a community-based service for the PlayStation Network, and allows you to create an avatar for the interactive 3D environment. You will also gain your own virtual apartment which you can build to your own liking by adding furniture, lighting, ornaments, interactive media as well as tons of other content.

First off, PlayStation Home is STILL in production, therefore there is still content to be put online for the final build. On top of that, Home will always be under construction, so there is always a chance for your ideas to get put in. So instead of complaining about not enough content, why not contribute?

||ACCESSING HOME||

Home version 1.03 and was released to the open public on December 11, 2008, and the 'PlayStation Home' logo will appear in 'PlayStation Network' section of the XMB menu. When you first try to access Home, you will be prompted with a 77MB download with 3GB reserve for other features, once downloaded and installed, you can access Home.

I had some guy cussing everyone out while in theater, and he focused on me a lot... cyber bullying will be a big thing in home i'm afraid but its a good concept so far. Prince_Denspion

initial thoughts = disappointing, i realise that the shops and stuff will become fleshed out, but the actual area is way too small its basically a house, mall, theatre, bowling alley? It took me like ten minutes to see everything.

The other major problem is the loading, every-time i want you enter an area, and the loadings not even fast, it loads videos automatically in the main square area, but then when you get in the theatre you have to sit through a loading screen to get in, then another as the movie downloads.

It shows peoples outlines while loading them in, but then starts loading when they want to talk.

It could be interesting but right now it's pretty broken, although free it's definitely a huge letdown 2 years of Sony hyping it? maybe they should take a leaf out of uncharted or world of warcraft were the loading is hidden so you don't notice it, and there should be little to no slowdown, at the moment it's nowhere near finished and shouldn't be in open beta stages..

lol...I had the same thing happen to me in the theater. Some idiot was using the ''N'' toward me(I'M AFRO-AMERICAN)but I got inside of his head because I was laughing at him.He asked me what I thought was funny,I told him I felt sorry for him because the internet is probably the only place he could use that word so liberally...but before I could go on everybody in the theater had jumped all over him!!lol....It felt good to see a group of people(IN GENERAL) stand-up against mankinds BIGGEST enemy....ignorance. lol

I just logged my PS3 on and I didn't see anything about Home. Is there something I am missing cause I don't see a thing. There is no home icon or anything just normal. PS store and Accnt info. Im stumped. I have latest firmware and junk so im baffled why its not on my PS3.rebirthofman

Think I'd rather be PLAYING a playstation game instead of watching a theater full of bigots talk **** while a video is downloading for 20 minutes...

In other words, I'm very disappointed with Home at least in the public Beta.

i actually like home from what i saw so far of it. today ill do a little more exploring around. the one thing negative is the stupid bigots that ruin it for everyone else but they get reported anyways or jumped on. im not sure if we could throw punches at someone on there or not yet but i wouldve like to with a cpl people. other than that for a beta i can't complain although i can't see it as a beta when its open to the general public.

man, i hate stickys. if someone has a genuine question or valuable comment worthy of creating a topic it gets locked but if they post it in here it gets lost. no fun. amcallisterni

i love HOME i redecorated my apt. got some stuff from the mall, sat at sullys bar aafter i visited the trainstation for farcry 2, as to theh person who said they cant find it, hit start go to locations world map .POPEYE1716

quite frankly the biggest waste of time this week

it took ages to download which things normally dont take too long on my playstation and then it wont even sign me in to it

if home is so big, why dont they have enough room on their servers to allow for the amount of people trying to use it.

and from what ive heard on here its not worth it

Logged on last night, i gotta say i can see the huge potential, yes the content is lacking, but it will come with time, all the haters are either little kids, or peaple who dont know a good thing when they see one, i mean literally blind

Just got two questions . I got the beta version of the game , but now I cannot get into the actual game . I downloaded something yesterday which I presumed was the upgrade from the Beta to the actual game . I keep getting a C-193 error code or something like that when I log in , is this anything to do with me getting Beta and it not upgrading properly , because I already reinstalelled the game , or is this a common problem ?

Some of the stuff was hilarous. I was laughing most of the time. Some of the stuff you see people doing in there is so funny. The funiest thing I saw was a train of about 15 dudes standing in a line dancing with each other while posting things like "come join the sausage party". I couldn't stop cracking up.

How do I allow sub accounts to access Home? Can I change a sub account to a master account?
