I think having one sticky for a broad topic is rediculous because you're not able to get feed back on specific ideas because people don't want to have to sift through a hundred or more posts to find something that catches their attention, like this:

Has anyone done the flying couch glitch from your apartment? It allows you to explore the entire harbor level which as it turns out is huge. If you don;t know it and wanna learn it message me I'm not hunting through this crap.

HOME is okay, butit just needs more. How about a flag football minigame? Or basketball? Even foosball? Also, it's ridiculous what is bleeped out. Saying "Hello, and Merry Christmas" translates into "****o" and "merrry ******mas." A simple what if statement in the coding would probably solve this, but it's just a little annoying.

Maybe it wil turn into a new language called playstation speak. "Hello" would equal "4 star o".

Home has been a highly anticipated service for the PlayStation 3 ever since it was announced about two years ago. The open beta is now out there and everyone is able to go check it out but does it live up to the hype?

Has anyone else done the Avatar Switcharoo in Home yet? That's when you make a very attractive female Avatar and start dancing, most likely the Salsa. Then in a matter of time, male Avatars starts hitting on you and starts dancing with you. Then you quickly go to your wardrobe and load your ugly big and tall male Avatar. And watch in an instant the same guys dancing with you, walking away in confusion. Lol. My stomach is hard from cracking up.

Aight, so I was on home chatting with one of my friends this afternoon and this guy came up and started harassing me and calling my black friend the n-word. I made a female PSN account to show my gf what its like on home, and so I logged in on that. I found the guy and started chatting with him. He asked me to come back to his house so that we could chat, so I obliged him. We chatted for about a half an hour and he wanted to send pictures of his "member" to me via cell phone and he asked me if I would give him my number. I told him that I wouldn't and that I was leaving his house. He pleaded with me, but I went to my house anyway and left him alone. I placed sofas in front of the front door and the patio doors and got to work.

First, I went in and changed my dazzling young female into a portly ginger guy. Then I invited the stalker guy over to my house. He arrived and started screaming (SCREAMING) into the mic how i "****ing tricked him" and that he shouldn't have believed me. The funny thing was, he yelled how I had "effing blocked him in" my room. He finally LOGGED OFF to get out of my room and logged back in and went to the Central Plaza. I changed back into a girl and went to meet him.

To my surprise, he was dancing all sexylike AS A GIRL! I went up to the guys he was dancing with and said " is a dood!" He started harassing me again, this time via text chatting, and finally invited me up to his house again for some private talk. I thought this was hilarious, so I complied. I told him I was a girl and that the ginger guy was a joke. He kept pressing me and kept pushing for my number. I had no intention of giving it to him, but he kept pestering.
Finally i told him "if you want my #, go tell all of the Bowling Alley that you hate 's." I met him at the bowling alley and, sure enough, he called everyone there an "Effing " This got no response from the people there, so i told him to "Try the Jews instead" He did. No response. I said "Try Hispanics." He did, no response. Finally, I told him to go chew out this big tough guy (one of my real life friends from my real PSN account) for "hitting on me earlier", which he did in front of a crowd of about a dozen people. It was hilarious. He still kept asking for my number, so I told him to invite me to his house, which he did.
However, before going I changed back into my Ginger-kid outfit to make him even more mad. I showed up at his house and he started yelling at me and asking if I was a dude. I told him that i wanted to look like an ugly guy so that none of the other guys would hit on me...and he believed me. He asked me for my number again, so I told him "My # is 1-973-867-5309"

To my surprise again, he believed me. He texted it and yelled at me about how the text wouldnt go through. He asked what my name was, to which I replied "Jenny", and he STILL didn't get it. He even read the number back over his microphone to me and STILL didn't get the joke. So, finally, I asked him for his number so that I could call him instead. He gave me his number, to which I promptly went to PrankDialer.com to RickRoll him. I put the number in and he got the call and HAD NO IDEA OF WHAT RICKROLLING WAS!!! He was all like "what the ***k is this ***t? Why is there music playing on my phone? Did you sign me up for some ****ing porn?" I said no, and finally told him that I had been a dude all along.


He was all like "Im gonna report you to Sony" and sent me a real threatening private message saying that he was gonna call the cops for harassment. I sent him a message back saying that I was underage and he had offered to send me sexually explicit images over the phone to me and that I had recorded EVERYTHING that he had done, and reported each offense to Sony for review. He was then like "No, dude, why don't we just forget about it? Just go on with our lives and whatnot?" I felt kinda sorry for the guy, since he said he had been in a terrible relationship for 8 years and his gf dumped him and his parents died and whatnot, so I let the guy go.

That is what I like to call the most Epic Trolling done yet on Home.
And yeah, the guy deserved it.

Fast forward to1:01:40where they start talking about Home Beta and their experience so far with it.

Unfortunately, I have to say I agree with almost all of their (negative) points about the service, but again, these are opinions, please don't start a **** of **** over who said what or why.
I thought it was a pretty decent review, andyes I know it's a Beta, and I'm pretty sure they do too.

As for my opinion, whether or not it's a beta, you should be able to criticize the service as of now because they're not much else to add as functionality other than a missing trophy room(?) and more goodies for the apartment/Clothing. And so far, there's not much to do other than the usual chatroom stuff that you could easily do in the XMB itself, with your friends.
The only true advantage that I found in Home (which I think is great), is how easy it is to meet new people. But then again, meeting new people is easy in the XMB as well, and works better in my opinion, because in the XMB/Games, you meet people youknow are playing the same games as you, like meeting people from a Call of Duty match you just played, or a GTA4 multiplayer game, they all show up on your list, you've had experience with them already, and you can easily add them to your friends list from there. In Home when you meet new people you pretty much have to find out for each person whether they actually play games at all, play the same games as you, whether they are casual or hardcore or just trying out the service for chatting purposes, or even whether they are just using Home as a dating platform (there's a lot of that). What do you guys think?

Although i do think that it will be much better and more interactive when the official release of home comes out instead of us only being able to wonder around a mall, bowling alley, cinema ect let's hope there's much more to do in the real version:)

It was amusing. Got to play bowling and pool with a few people. Watched every dude crowd around a female whenever one walked into a certain area. One told him she liked girls, didn't phase him. I laughed and did the robot.socomn00b

I used a headset for the first time ever with something other than my phone and I used it with Home. Is it just me or is all the sound loud, distorted, and hard to understand people. I also find it bothersome that no icon pops up over someone's head to let you know if they are the one's talking. Its impossible to tell who says what.babern38
