Everyone interested in Killzone 2 should watch this movie

It's a 40 minute interview with the makers of Killzone 2. It is in dutch but it is subbed in english

They talk about gamedesign, the engine, the story(no spoilers) and about the multiplayer

So which part of KZ2 is everyone looking forward to the most? Single player, or the online Multiplayer?_Brennan_

Both equally ..

I just hope their servers are as good as Insomniacs .. I don't have the best connection and Resistance servers are the only ones I don't experience any lag .. so my fingers are crossed ..

The campaign looks like it's going to be pretty epic though too. Are you going to play it first before going online?_Brennan_

Yeah, thats what I do in every game. Beat singleplayer then move onto multiplayer. The KZ2 singleplayer does look epic, but I've mostly watched vids for the multiplayer and it looks sick.

ive heard rumors that killzones 2 online play will better than call of duty world at war which i think is really good and addicting.

so i think kz2 will be rreally good

i have a question about the controls for the people who were in the beta. can you tell me if you can swith your sticks to "legacy", meaning where you move AND look all with the left thumbstick, leaving the right thumbstick for strafing. i use the legacy option for all of the fps's and im really hoping killzone 2 offers it.

But, Ehh.....Whos to believe.;)

such a weird way of putting it - 'non CGI' - i mean real time rendering is still computer generated imagery lol

anyways looks cool, nice per pixel motion blur...

and really nice tensile control for the blended rag dool aniamtions hitting floor etc. Mixed with keyframe anim this looks neat! It means the limbs/object dont wobble around like crazy when they get hit, they ahve kind of a tension and weight to them - good to finally see this in some games :)

I tink it'll be a good alternative to R2, in the sense it'll apparently require stradegy and actual teamwork stead of havin a team of headset-less meatheads(nutin wrong with that, i myself cnt pass down a quick n pointless rush lol) all chargin at each others base's lol :P

I always hear about games goign gold 2-3 weeks before launch ... but I just checked and MGS4 had infact gone gold 5 weeks before release, so I guess the bigger games which they expect to have massive sales take longer, except I don't see KZ2 having initial sales like MGS4.
