Hehehe so we were right, it did fix itself....but I mean seriously they couldn't have just explained it was due to a defect in the older 'fat' models internal clock and it basically happens every year (just this year it's more notceable because of trophy support) and would just go and fix itself??? Instead of freaking people out with almost no official information and leaving it to forum goers to figure out and explain what Sony should have been telling people about it in the first place. /sigh
yaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy nows i can play me some gamess
anyone wanna add me im linkman7
If they even are aware of this themselves, I'm betting they wouldn't be willing to admit it for fear or even more mass retaliation from users. Instead, they'll just hope that enough people believe it was PSN, and allow misinformation to work in their favor. Damage control.Hehehe so we were right, it did fix itself....but I mean seriously they couldn't have just explained it was due to a defect in the older 'fat' models internal clock and it basically happens every year (just this year it's more notceable because of trophy support) and would just go and fix itself??? well back in PSN and my phatty is working here in Canada, sure glad i didn't reset the internal clock :P I guess they can change the commericals back now. I was about to give it alhtimerz medicine :P
Well put. What is worse... we will deal with this again next year... at least it will be expected... lolHehehe so we were right, it did fix itself....but I mean seriously they couldn't have just explained it was due to a defect in the older 'fat' models internal clock and it basically happens every year (just this year it's more notceable because of trophy support) and would just go and fix itself??? I'm back online over here in Oregon.
P.S. A tip to the wise about trophies: If you want them back, put the game disc in and let it re-install them. Then quit before you unlock a trophy. Now, perform the sync operation and you should have them all back. I've had a few instances where my trophies disappeared and this hasn't failed me yet.
No, nothing. :([QUOTE="mitsuhideakechi"]

Instead, they'll just hope that enough people believe it was PSN, and allow misinformation to work in their favor. Damage control. Problem is in this case their lack of information created more of an uproar than if they had just told us straight what was happening. And there is no way they could have not been aware. Some of us narrowed down the problem long ago and knew it was going to fix itself and you can't tell me a few forum goers know more about the PS3 than the people who made it. It may have been an attempt at damage control but that is a pretty pathetic attempt.Hehehe so we were right, it did fix itself....but I mean seriously they couldn't have just explained it was due to a defect in the older 'fat' models internal clock and it basically happens every year (just this year it's more notceable because of trophy support) and would just go and fix itself???
