[QUOTE="Shielder7"]LMAO there a bunch of sits going around stating "Sony Has Fixed The Problem" which is funny because they didn't "Fix" or Do" anything it just sorted itself out when the clocks went to march.QuotingMyself
Sony has created a system that can fix itself. Shouldnt that count for something?
It didnt fix itself. The error is still there but the symptoms have disappeared till 2014
Why will have it disappeared till 2014? :?[QUOTE="QuotingMyself"]

I'm sorry but i don't think Sony will let that happen again, besides they will probably fix the clock to make it read the real leap year in 2 years...[QUOTE="z4twenny"][QUOTE="Dan_Lero"]Why will have it disappeared till 2014? :?

It WAS a hardware issue though. The BIOS clock in the systems hardware was programmed wrong. That's why people who never even had their Ps3's online had similar problems.YeollerBut can they not patch that problem up? I mean it is yes hardware --- but it is programing not actual design .... so I would think they can fix it ...
Yesterday when I tried to sign in I got the error message. I was confused for a second and then I remembered the network problems I read about earlier. Not much later I was at my friends house and told him that the Playstation network was down and he wouldn't be able to sign in. He was like "What? Really" He turns on his PS3 and right away in the top right corner of the screen it says "Signed in." I was shocked, he said it was because he has the new PS3 Slim. (I have the old PS3 Fat which is a 60gb model.) I was scared because I was thinking that it might be because my old PS3 was on its way out. (YLOD) But reading this gave me hope, I haven't turned on my PS3 since then, so I'll check later and hopefully it will work.
So, where can I get my I survived the APOCALYPS3 T shirt? :)biggleskthey should award us that in playstation home
