Just go to THIS website with your PS3 browser and download the MGS4 theme (the background even changes!!! it's freaking cool). then go into System Settings or whatever and pick "themes" and then change the Theme to the MGS one. easy as pie (i don't get why people wanna go through all the "put it on a USB Flashdrive" etc.zeforgotten
I know right? Everybody is stressing about Flashdrive this and Flashdrive that, when downloading it directly is the easiest/best way to go.

Yes, but for theme creation, it's easier to flashdrive than to upload and copy the link and download.
Also, most of the themes posted in this thread won't be ready to DL directly.
I've seen a Silent Hill theme, but I think it's from the movie, if that helps.BZSINWhere have you seen it? Can you give me a link, please.:)
dunno if this site has been mentioned in this thread yet. but here goes
www.allps3themes.com That's one of the siites i use the most. sam deal as before, easier.. just use your PS3 browser download the themes, and that's it.
Yeah, there are a lot of sites popping up with PS3 themes. Just know that they (well I know of a few) steal themes from each other. I know this because I've seen my theme on sites I didn't upload it to.
Not that any of that matters to y'all...

Hi all!
I wanted to share with you my ThemeCreator tool. No more tedious xml files to work with and you can see what your theme looks like right there as you make one. Please try it out. Happy themeing!
Download PS3ThemeCreator
I have a PS3 file then a THEME file in that but still cannot install any themes. What am I doing wrong?dagger102
It must be THEMES

Not true, it should be "THEME" (without the quotes of course).
Are you sure you copied over the .p3t file and not the .xml file?
If so, what is the error message you get (if any)?
Hey guys sorry for the twenty questions, but I was finally able to make my own icons so thanks. But ,lol, have you seen the ones that are the regular ps3 icons but in a bubble/button or somethimg and it comes in black and multi color, so does any one know how to get those?
And can the ps3 actually break because of the downloaded themes?

Of course not... I think his either broke, so this is his scapegoat, or he is trying to tell us a joke.
But, with the bubble/button icons... you just download them or create them like you would any other theme.
How to create them - create a button/bubble, then put the original icon PNG over the top of it... you probably have to use Photoshop (maybe Gimp will do this, but I honestly don't know that program).

I've been using GIMP for all of my image editing projects and it will handle the PNG files just like a layer. Finals week ends the 15th for me so I'll have some time over break to play around with a few designs.
[QUOTE="esterler"]Hey guys, how do you make the preview?rptransam09
there's an HTML file... hold on.
okay,
http://www.filecrunch.com/file/~1j14le
download that.
put it in the same folder as your .pngs and open it up with IE or Firefox (tried both, and works better in firefox)
