Pass for me. 256 ppl is going too be too ridiculous. Graphics look horrible. I doubt the server and framerate is gonna hold up with that many people.

MAG's graphics aren't that bad. They are slightly worse then CoD, but not by a whole lot. My main greivance so far is that yes some of the effects are kind of poor, probably like bullets holes. (What trailer are you watching where you can see bullet holes anyways?)
The graphics are still good/decent though. Call of Duty and Killzone however are from perfect in my opinion. However niether the Call of Duty or Killzone engines could possibly handle 256 player games that MAG is going for. Simply put the PS3 just doesn't have the graphic's prowess to do such a thing. And the Xbox 360 especially wouldn't be able to do this since MAG is making use of the PS3s cell processor.
I'll be honest I'm very excited for this game. I absolutely loved Battlefield 2 and this looks like the same type of deal, but on even larger scale. This is literally the game I've been waiting for, since Call of Duty's kill the same dudes all the time in a 10 minute match just kind of grates me. Call of Duty is just too focused on personal skill, and this is partly why I prefer Killzone 2 since it's more of a "team" game. Team based games are just more fun for me because they are not won by any single individual, but by the group of individuals that works best together.
MAG looks like it'll be a lot of fun. Large battlefields, massive firefights, vehicles, aerial combat. If you're going to make a war game that's how it should be. Instead of just aiming down the sight at a single guy now you're going to often find yourself facing a whole squad sometimes even platoon's worth of enemies. That's a lot more exciting in of itself. I mean that many people firing at each other all at once is just way more intense. True it will be somewhat chaotic, but that's often how real battles are. Of course I guess not everyone is into that sort of thing, since some people can't seem to handle the aspect they can be killed by a rocket or a tank shell.
Parachuting into a game instead of just spawning, player controlled jets and helicopters, lots of explosions. That to me just screams awesome and way more awesome then any other shooter out on the PS3 right now. Maybe the graphics won't be top notch, but graphics alone do not make a video game a good by any means. My only true concern is if the game will actually be able to run smoothly and without a lot of lag. Though the fact they are using their own dedicated servers sounds promising.
dude... "horriable" isn't a word.Of course man I had a ps1, ps2 at launch and got the ps3 during the summer of its release. Dont act like KZ2 and Uncharterd were some of the sweetest games man. Because they push the system which I know 256 players is pushing the system its just in the wrong way because the graphics are horriable man. We also know that this game was supposed to be something outstanding man and this was a big project too, I blame the developers bad judgement call on them.

Socom was my favorite multiplayer game and I had some great times on there, but Zipper is absolutely blowing it. It used to be about great, focused gameplay and strategy amongst 16 people on some great maps with no respawn, so there was a reason to stay alive and win. Now all they want to do, as well as other studios and creators, is to be able to have 23,000 people battling it out and respawning. It's retarted. I've done it before on games like the Battlefield series. It's cool at first, but gets old fast. You're just one stupid little person amongst soooooo many. The team aspect and strategy is completely thrown out the window.
I'll never buy this game. Have fun.
Umm for one the game is not going to be out for anohter 9 months or longer... so it will look better..... and plus graphics are going to suffering when your running an online game with 256 PLAYERS!Ok guys I am really wondering now on what even the standard for games are looking like, but I honestly think that MAG is the most horriable thing I have ever seen. I downloaded the trailer today which I have already seen on gamestop, but I wanted to view it in HD. Now this game is just lacking on a standard bases of gaming if this is the final product. First thing I noticed was how the bullet holes on the wall tracing didnt look. Bullet holes were just lined up one after another in the most horriable effects. This was right in the beginning of the trailer, now honestly I think they better put that game back into the oven and have that game cooked more for perfection. I mean KZ2 and Uncharted should be the standards for games, graphics are top notch and everything runs so clean. This exclusive for PS3 doesnt look good if this is already the final stages of the product. What do you guys think?
