PS3 only sells 127,000 units in February!

Why would it go up in March? Because of Oblivion or Amored Core? yea those are big system sellers even though one is a year old game and a new expansion is already coming to  Xbox Live.

The marketing is just beginning to get turned up for the PS3 and will continue to increase as new apps are released. The Sony brand is the system of choice for many gamers. As they know that more games are available, they'll be purchasing one. Plus, the word of mouth for the console has been increasingly positive. I expect to see the numbers continuing to rise.... most noticeably going into the fall.

Its not all doom and glom, that there is a reason to smile for Sony loyalists. I think all Sony needs to do is drop the price any amount (obviously $1 won't impact anyone's decisions) and it will get more buyers. I own the machine and I have no qualms about buying it, and the rumble free controllers are superior to their predecessors. This is one note to all people who bash the graphics because they don't look some damn awesome out of the box: ANYONE remember 360's first games, they looked WORSE than a good number of Xbox games! PS3 games look far superior to nearly all PS2 games (debatable obviously) and, like good wine, they get a lot better with age. So for anyone that moans about graphics, there is inrefutable evidence that the advent of better graphics for the PS3, that its an eventuality that 360 graphics will always be substandard to PS3

I don't understand how 360 fanboys, can complain about the Ps3s price?  I mean factor in the 200 dollar, HD-DVD addon, and the 50 dollar Live Membership along with the Wireless Network access, and you would wonder who was getting ripped off.

The 50 dollars, for playing online isn't an option.. getting the HD-DVD addon to play games isn't an option.

Are you mental or something? WHat do you mean it is not an option? I don't want an HD DVD player so i did not buy it and I will never buy a movie. The $50 for Live is well worth it but I always pay around $30 on Ebay.

i tihnk the ps3 is cheapest system out of all in my opinion, not like cheapest out of like all systems in like price because obviously it's 600 dollars. but i mean in terms of "you pay for what you get" because i mean seriously, a blu-ray player with a state of the art 8 cell core processor, and built in hdmi port, this is not what you see everyday for 600 dollars, i mean seirously, the ps3 should be going for atleast 1,000 dollars in the united states but is instead selling for 400, i think people who say that it's expensive are microtendo wii60 fanboys that doesn't even care the price of the ps3 and are only saying that 'cuz they hate ps3 cuz their mommy said no. and besides, most people on xbox lives are like 12 year olds anyways, you guys saw that one video of that 12 year old kid screaming over xbox live over milk to his mom? lmfao roflolmfaoddldave

How can anyone say the PS3 is going to fail 4 months after it's release?  Give me a break.  I had the 360 when it first came out and the games were not all that impressive.  I didn't really get into my 360 until Oblivion came out.  Just wait for some games to be released and this won't even be a topic any more.  It's rediculous.  The only people that complain about the PS3 are the ones who can't afford it.  Really, $200 more for the PS3 compared to the 360 isn't that bad.  Plus factor in the HD DVD and X-Box live and it comes close to being even.

I'm sure all of this has been said, but Holy Christ in Hell.  Give it some time.

Is it coming out in March? If you read you will see I was responding to the guy saying it will be much better in March. And Shaft I cannot recall anyone saying Sony is failing. Even though I believe the Xbox will continuously outsell the PS3 for the rest of the year. There are just too many good stuff coming out.

This whole thread is basically saying the PS3 is failing.  That was the purpose of the original post.

And? If anything that shows that even at a low price they both started off slowly, but ended up winning.

You guys are stupid. This is not true. I mean look at the link he gave us the link to another forum on another website. I could have post this on a website and went to gamespot and said o my god look guys sonys not doing well. Well If you add up all the totals for the companies all together sony has 598,000 nintendo has sold 980,000 and microsoft is not even on the map with only 228480. So I think sony is doing just fine as a company. We all know that nintendo want hold this lead for long. But i dont fine this source to be worth writing anymore info on so peace out!Thakingk05
