The headphones are to the right of him, we're looking at the blurred thing to the left of him.

Yeah and above those headphones is PS controller. PS3 probably, it appears small enough to be a PS3 controller, and is not blurred out.
He is getting killed in the video if you watch it, so he is being shot at, hence rumble effect, and is testing for frame rates and so on. I would be willing to bet some money on that being a controller with rumble. This game isnt due out any time in the immediate future leaving more than enough time for a possible rumble enabled six axis.
Also for those not wanting to buy an additional controller just for rumble, perhaps a controller with rumble capabilites will be included with haze for an extra $10 or $20 bucks, a Rumble Edition if you will.
The cord however is the one problem I have with the whole video, the controller didnt really seem to move iradically like most vibrating phones or controllers to, it rotated 90 degrees right to the side of his arm.
Is it a rumble controller who knows...is rumble coming, Im fairly certain thats been confirmed.
it rumbled if u notice he was getting shot at in the game plus the controller been blur'd through the whole video if u dont belive me go to ign and check out the 12 min video about haze also they only mentioned the ps3 version not once did they say xbox 360Here is some good evidence that Sixaxis Rumble will be coming to E3. In the new Haze video shown below. In the bottom left corner you see the developer put down the controller and it rumbles to the right. To add more fuel to the fire the controller is blured out for no reason. He even says he is developing right now for the PS3, and the controller is still blured out and vibrating to the right.

I also notice something in the gif picture posted at the GAF forum, right when it moves, at the same exact time you can see the arrow on the screen because hes being shot at. That right there makes it more credible that this may indeed be rumble.

I did also notice in the last fram of the gif, he gets shot again and the controller moves on the table. And the guy sitting there did not move the arm.
Just look closely and say what you guys think.
i guess the people on here didn't see what i typed....if you watch the video on ign all the way through the controller is blurred out a second timewhen the one guy ask can he try out the vehicle portion of the game near the very end of the video clip.
Seems kinda suspect if you ask me.

Yeah, I actually see what you're talking about... at the very last fraction of a sec
It is right up against his arm BUT THEN it rotates a little clockwise... any1 else notice that???

Yeah saw the movement...the controller is certainly moving on its own...
The controller's movement is definitely NOT caused by rumbling. People shouldn't judge this only by the small .gif. Go and watch the video by yourselves. The movement happens at 10:02 and you can clearly see that the guy just inadvertedly pulls the cord (which is definitely plugged in the controller, you can see it move with it) with his forearm.
2 proofs:
-You can see (very undistincly though) that when the controller moves, it slightly tilts towards as the wire (that's placed underneath the controller) is pulled
-The sound. You can clearly hear "Tac!.....Tac!" and not "Tac!.....Bzzzz!"
One phrase attracted my attention though. At 2:26, the guy talking says:
"Haze is gonna blow you away! And show you what the NEXT-GEN CONSOLES can do"
I think that, if anything, it clarifies the non-exclusiveness of Haze.
After reading other rumors...It could be a 360 controller and seeing how this is a PS3 "exclusive" they may have blured out the 360 controller?jwat4
This ain't a ps3 exclusive. It is multiplatform, though the ps3 version will come out at the sametime. So why would they blur out the 360 controller in that picture and not in the part where they are showing it for Ubisoft producers? Yes there is a 360 controller laying on the ground there.
Why would they even blur out a 360 controller if we already know its multiplatform?

Why blur out the controller then?
Do you even know how the new motion sensing will sound like?
When something vibrating hits something it will make the sound "tac!...tac!".

If you watch the entire video you will notice at the end the 360 is not listed as a platform under Haze, on a Playstation 3 logo is present. If they were working on a PS3 version with a 360 controller wouldnt there be some issue there?
It was simply specualation by others, but viable none-the-less...
Everything thats being discussed is specualtion so really at this point the blur, the movement of the controller, all it could be anything and everything we assume it will be.

What you don't get is that the video is "pre-ubidays" footage, and all they worked on was the Ps3 demo version. The ending credits where just clipt on later.
And if you watch the video you will see the part when the controller ain't blurred out and it will show that it is a version of the sixaxis.
If you watch where he puts his thumbs you will know this ain't a 360 controller. They also blur out the controller in another part of the video.
So no they aren't blurring out a black 360 controller with the same type of L3/R3 sticks as the Sixaxis.

Well as far as the blur is concerned, your guess is as good as mine! But I disagree about the vibration part. I mean of course a vibration will cause a "bzzzz" kind of sound. A pulsation, on the other hand, will cause a "Tac!...Tac!" kind of sound. But explain something to me. Vibrating or pulsating, how could the controller move towards the guy? I mean if you put your cell phone on a table and make it vibrate, it will rotate a bit or maybe move a bit. Not make a full 5 centimeters sprint!
But tell me, don't you see the controller's wire being pulled by the guy's forearm? And the tilting?

No, like some of us were saying before, LOOK at the last fraction of a second in the video...
You see how it moves a little clockwise after he sets it down to type on the keyboard??? I believe he's being shot at the same time.
Well, we'll just hope to here it from E3 anyways...

The controller rotates ANTI-clockwise. But the guy's arm also makes a anti-clockwise rotation at the very same time! The cable under the controller twists and is also pulled by the guy's arm's movement.
