PSone Classics You would like on PSN

PSone had many great games from different genres, I think Sony is doing a good job by release some classics like

FF7 , resident evil games,silent hill and castlevania.

what other game would you like Sony to bring to PSN?

Personally, I'm Hoping to see CronoCross it was my Favorite Psone RPG

The best Zelda clone and 2D action RPG Ive ever played.

those are some great games you guys mentioned so far, I would also like to see Vagrant Story it was made by

by squaresoft and came out in 2000 but it was over shadowed by other games like Final Fantasy IX at the time.

the story was very good and well paced from the begining to end.

Crash Team Racing and Chrono Trigger

I would also pay for "Treasures of the Deep". AWESOME game. I remember the first time I saw a shark, I about soiled my armor.

Megaman X4 and 8, I'm not a really big fan of the classic series but MM8 has a nostalgic worth to it thanks to the cheesy voice acting (especially Dr. Elmer (Light) Fudd). We have to stop Ductah Wawwy!

I never owned a PS1 (or PS2, for that matter), but I've always been interested in trying Fear Effect. Other than that, I can't really tell you what games even exist on the system outside of MGS.LongZhiZi

Speaking of Abe's Oddessy, what the hell is with Sony charging 9.99 for every single Oddworld game on the PSN? :evil:

The first one of each series sure, thats a cute little money making ploy. Tomb Raider 1? Ok. RE 1? Bought it. Even SOTN, best of the series. Fine. But every single title?

Making it so nobody can reminisce with Abe off the PSN for less than ten bucks??..

Yeah... that $10 price tag has me standing off too... I really don't get it with "Tomb Raider" though. At least MGS, RE, and "Abe's" were really good titles. The first TR has not aged well, and i don't remember the jumping and platforming as being all that accurate back in the day.

Some of the prices are a little steep. And, the second "Oddworld" is only $6. They seem to be picking the titles they know will survive a potential gouge like that... it's how they get at me without my buying a Go.

Agreed. I'd buy both Abe's if they were the standard fare, but alas that's not the case. Hopefully they'll lower the price later on... but I'm not exactly holding my breath. But on mine it says they're both 9.99 a piece, where do you see 6 dollars?

I doubt it, the reason it got mixed reviews was because it was obviously collecting bits and pieces from every popular RPG at the time and joined them into one. I believe it was more a homage to the RPGs of the PSX than an attempt to make a successful series.

I have been talking on this forum for the last week about the prices on PSN dropping in terms of the games available for the Go, and how Sony will not drop prices on a captive group of consumers, especially in light of all the piracy and other BS the platform has endured over the years. So, it would seem I need to understand a bit of my OWN advice to others and just accept the fact that Sony will gouge and I can either pay up or sit across the room and complain uselessly and go without.

I broke down and got MGS, but the rest of the $9,99 titles are just going ot have to wait.

I remember the ability to fart in "Abe's Oddessy" being endless amusement... but yeah, I have become more "selective" now that I have a few titles like "Pandemonium!" under my belt. It's a relief having a few of these old friends back in a playable format. I would REALLY like to see "Treasures of the Deep" come up on PSN... that game was soooooo COOL.

Eventually, I want to get at least the first "Crash Bandicoot", because I remember that being really good... and "Warhawk" because I remember that as being a really good flight sim with HILARIOUS FMVs in between missions. Wonder what'll pop up in a few days here?

Just put Final Fantasy IX, Xenogears and Legend of the Dragoon and I'd be happy.

If I didn't already have them, I would say FF VIII and IX, Vagrant Story, Chrono Cross, Parasite Eve, Dragon Quest VII, and Legend of Mana. With that being said Suikoden II and Xenogears is what I want. They are both rare and expensive.
