K i only have money for 2 games, what should i get? I like FPS, action and/or adventure and i hate RPG. COD's ive played both so not interested anymore. Thinking of Far Cry 2 but not shure. Absolutely disliked fallout 3. Also played earlier GTA's and didnt like any but this one seems interesting. What should i get? supacrazymann

I want something for myself from the Playstation store for xmas, I'm choosing between Super Stardust HD, Puzzle Quest, Loco Roco / Cocorecho, Lumines Supernova, Crash Bandicoot, Rayman, Spyro the Dragon, Twisted Metal 2, Syphon Filter, Suikoden or the new LBP MGS Level Kit. Well, they are all very different and it the end it depends on your favour. I personaly was surprised when I first played Puzzle Quest, completed it 2 times and even my girlfriend completed it. This Game has something to get you in ^^ SSHD has a wide fanbase as it was the first Game with trophy support, it's funny, but I'd rather say nay. I've never played Loco Roco, so I can't say anything about it. I played Lumines on my PSP a long time, the themed levels and the great sound is cool for this decent puzzle Game. Out of the Jump and Runs I'd say get Crash Bandicoot (1 if you like hard Games, 3 if you rather like to have all kind of levels). Can't say anything on Twisted Metal 2 and Syphon Filter, but Suikoden is a great RPG (even though the second was waaaay better) and the big amount of characters for your team is really great (there are 108 characters, but not everyone fights). And yeah, for the MGS Level Kit you should be a fan of LBP and MGS4

any other ps3 game that i could buy this holiday season? or should i jsut wait for killzone, god of war, final fantasy, street fighter, heavy rain next year? is there a really good game that i missed? i don't feel fallout 3. for me, shootes and rpg's don't jibe that well. i didn't really enjoy resistance since it didn't feel like i was shooting a gun (especially on the bullseye, didnt feel that strong feeling of actually shooting a gun, amybe because of the sounds or something. cause it sounds like a laser gun and not a real gun...). i also didnt like Assassin's creed/ holy crap. very repetitive. i only got valkyria chronicles today since it's so hard to find a copy and im loving it.

im getting ps3 for boxing day and im wondering if there is any good ps3 exclusive or ps3/xbox360 exclusive games that i should get.

right now i can only think about mgs 4, little big planet(heard it was good, what so good about it anyway?), maybe resistance 1&2, valkyria chronicles, eternal sonata, maybe ng sigma, and i dont really want gta4. ever since i knew about no backwards-compability, im starting to lose faith in the console.. T^T but i just dont wanna get 360 cuz i already beat gears and halo3 in co-op and there's nothing really that catches my attention compare to ps3, which has god of war 3. and i think psn is free no?

and is there any game that's coming out in the future that looks awesome? well, other than ff13, gow3, or re5

i really need a reason to convince myself that this is a console to get, since half of my intention was vanished when i realized no ps2 game work on current 80gig

Fallout 3 or Call of Duty: World at War. I know they're totally different types of games, but I can't decide which one to get first.

Also, do you have to be 17 or 18 to buy an M-rated game. I turned 17 back in August but haven't tried buying an M-rated game yet so I'd like to know. Thanks.

All right , I got R2 for xmas, along with 100bucks. Now I'm thinking Uncharted...and maybe a Dualshock 3 controller (both from amazon, this will save me about 35 bucks. I already have MGS4, but that's about it. Any other reccomendations, or must-haves? No FPS please, R2 has already got me hooked with the MP.

ok so for christmas i got 3 games, resistance 2, call of duty world at war, and mortal kombat vs dc universe, ive decided that im for sure keeping resistance 2 and call of duty, but im not so sure about mk vs dc, so whats your opinions? should i keep it? or should i take it back and exchange it for a new game? bare in mind that i could exchange it for any other game there, so if i take it back, which game should i get? games i already have are, resistance, tes oblivion, bioshock, assassians creed,burnout paradise, soulcaliber 4, uncharted, nhl 09, fallout 3, mgs4, and gta 4 Braden-41

If you don't like MCvsDCU and you don't want to take the time for the kombo challenges, you should change it. You may like Midnight Club: LA if you want another racer. Lookig at you collection, you may like Heavenly Sword. FPS wise you've got about everything that's worth it (besides CoD4, which is like CoD:Waw but more future related)

Resistance 2 is a good choice unless you want a non-shooter

I'd go with Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm but really, it depends on if you are up for a DBZ or Naruto game

^ For all that ... I think you might be lucky to get around $30 to be quite honest. If a game is any older than current gen then you get next to nothing for it, and even then stores won't pay more than $10 on average for it. For your recommendation I would say get COD:WAW because you said a game that will last you a while, and if you like online shooters that is your best bet (LBP is really fun, but personally I can't see myself continually playing the user created levels forever).Phantom5800

heres my situation:

in southern california, it's hard for a 14 year old to get money. I want five things that will be out the first half of 09. I just have $60 from xmas(man you really do get less stuff as you get older). well when(if) I receive the ranks I want(I got 4 of my classes aced for sure... but spanish and dam home ec), I might actually ask my parents to buy me something. My parents had a hard life in the philipines since they were of the extremely poor population, so they dint spoil me. they would teach me a lesson physically(I believe it's ok if you dont go overboard btw), and they told me of right and wrong. one of the very first things I learned as a kid was "if you bad you go to jail, and in jail you do nothing forever"

so long story short: I will actually stoop as low as the punks who get whatever they want by whining meaning I can get 2 of the 5 things. those things are:

If you enjoyed Far Cry 2 that much, you'll most likely be very happy with Fallout 3. It is, like Far Cry 2, a very open and big world. It's just great made, it has such a good atmosphear aand can last hours over hours. If you already have Cod4, forget about WaW, if not and if you like to play online, CoD Wa" would be a great choice too
