Can someone help me choosing a game to buy? I need a JRPG, which is lack in PS3 game list. The only JRPG I have is Disgaea 3.

Between Folklore, Eternal Sonata, and Valkyria Chronicles.

Thanks in advanced.

I want a racer...
I'm thinking either Wipeout HD, Burnout Paradise, or Motorstorm Pacific Rift.
I'me currently leaning towards Wipeout HD. It's cheap and supposedly really good.
I live in Japan, so retail releases are a little difficult, so getting Motorstorm might be even more expensive through the internet
Burnout is a bit moredifficult because I hate the open city and I know I will get annoyed towards the end of the game. The core driving itself really hasn't changed much from Burnout3 Takedown, but I can't play that right now since my 360 is red ringed. HOWEVER, the DLC for Burnout Paradise is really amazing and looks like it should be worth something even if the core gameplay world ticks me off to no end.
Looks like you already decided on Wipeout HD, as according to your (limited) horizon, is your only choice.I want a racer...

Army of two, timeshift, dark sector
Which one of these are the best? There all £10 at my local game store. Thoughts?
Considering in MGS4 you could tranquilize everyone and still beat the game, I'd say that.Which M rated game is the least-violent?
Metal Gear Solid 4
Call of Duty 4

Just got a PS3 few days ago. I'm currently borrowing a friend's copy of MGS4, which I love, but when I finish it, I'd like to get another great PS3 exclusive. I've been looking at LittleBigPlanet or Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. I'm a big fan of replay value, but I've heard that LBP gets old kinda quick and the online sorta sucks. I've also heard fantastic things about Uncharted and how people just replay it because of the epicness of it, and of course the unlockables. (If someone could elaborate on those, I'd appreciate it.)
Feel free to reccomend any other games that you can. I don't like RPGs one bit, not a big fan of racing, and I like FPSs but not ones that are repetitve. Action games are fun for me, too.Â
I can't decide on what game to get.
Metal Gear Solid 4 or Fallout 3 or Resistance 2.
Also between Midnight club LA, and need for speed undercover.

having problems deciding between resistance 2 and Cod: WaW
i played the demo for R1 and hated it, the fact that it takes a lot of shots to kill enemies, you actually see the bullets moving, the zoom in function just moves the gun directly in the center of the screen, and i just sucked at it, i didnt end up getting the game. however, the reviews for R2 have caught my attention, and the intense multiplayer and co-op intrigues me.Â
for cod, i LOVED cod4, played the hell out of it. however world war 2 isnt my cup of tea, the weapons, the 'been there done that' feel and the fact that its just a minor improvement from cod4.Â
Â
im determined to buy one and im not in the position to rent.Â

Resistance 2 vs. Call of Duty: World at War. Convince me which one.r1m1k1
I'd go with Resistance 2. After playing CoD4 to death, I decided that I'd pass on WaW just because it's essentially the same experience with a different setting. Why pay $60 for WaW when CoD4 is still just as fun?
Resistance 2 is different enough to warrant spending a cool $60. That $60 gets you an epic, challenging (sometimes frustrating) but ultimately fun campaign mode that lasts anywhere from 6-10 hours. Then you get a huge competitive multiplayer mode with varied gametypes that will keep you busy for a very long time. Then you top that off with an 8-player co-op mode with 3 classes to master. Teamwork is key in co-op, and there's nothing I've played to date that rivals the sense of camaraderie and accomplishment when you finally beat a co-op challenge with 7 other people.Â
Insomniac even posted an estimate of how many hours it would take to unlock everything in the game and max out all of your ranks/classes. That total came out to 420 hours. I'm pretty impressed by the amount of replay value they added to the game. I'll probably never reach that level, but I'm sure as hell having a blast with the game.

Resistance 2 takes less to kill a person than Resistance 1, I think.
It's a tough decision. But you sound like you didn't like Resistance's MP at all while your only complaint about CoD: WaW is that it'll be more of the same. So I'd go with World At War
I'm thinking of getting far cry 2. Should i get it or just pass on it?diputa2002
I'd suggest heading over to the Far Cry 2 specific forum here on the site. I wouldn't want to recommend this game to you unless you knew the list of cons and things people didn't like about it. However, in my opinion, I'd recommend Far Cry 2 for the SP alone. It's really refreshing being able to approach a mission anyway you'd like
Resistance 2 vs. Call of Duty: World at War. Convince me which one.r1m1k1
Another tough decision. If you liked CoD 4 and you don't mind that World At War doesn't do much things different, then go for it. But if you are even slightly irked that it's the same as CoD 4, then I'd recommend getting Resistance 2 and continue playing CoD 4
Should I get Resistance 2 now or wait for Killzone 2?Maxyboy13
Tough decision. If you have the money, I'd recommend getting both. But if it's one and only one, then I'd recommend watching some videos of both games and deciding on that. They both have different playing s-tyle making it hard to recommend one over the other

Yeah, I guess that's the problem. I really don't have the money. Another question, do you think that some of R2's community will go over to Killzone when it is released?Â

Yes. There will be both people who leave for Killzone and people who will play both.
[QUOTE="piemanngamer"]Does BF:BC have decent online multiplayer?Sokol4ever
Very much so, all Battlefield games are main focused on Multiplayer action and Bad Company is no exception. Lots of gear to unlock, huge maps to play on and there are always people playing.
If you're looking for multiplayer shooter Bad Company is very good.
I recently just finished MGS4 in 24 hours (but not straight :P ) , so I'm thinking of Fallout 3, Silent Hill 5, Far Cry 2, Dead Space...any recommendations ?Edvin_MetalSoul
Of the ones listed, I'd recommend Fallout 3 or Dead Space. Although I love Far Cry 2, it seems to be a hit or miss with people.
I have bought alot of games lately, loving WAW by the way. Anyway,I want atleast one game for Christmas. I am more of a shooter person, but will play anything amazing. So here is my list, and I will let u guys choose one for me. Fallout 3, Resistance 2, Little Big Planet,MGS4 (NEVER PLAYED THE OTHERS), Or a game you guys recommend. Let me know. They all got good ratings, but which one is the most all around fun, challenging, looks good, and so on. Let me know.

hmmm, I say hold off on MGS4 until you get your hands on the MGS: Essentials collection. And since you are more of a shooter person, Go with Fallout 3 if you are up for a RPG with shooter elements or go with Resistance 2 if you just want a straight up shooter. Fallout 3 might be a nice change of pace from shooters though.
Im gettin 1 game 4 Xmas w/ my PS3. Itll be my only game 4 a wile so it has to have replay value and of course be tons of fun:D
LBP or BF:BC?

Of the two, LBP. But if you are going to only have one game to play a long while, you should try a shooter like R2 or CoD: WaW. Or perhaps a lengthy RPG like Fallout 3

Little Big Planet, tons of fun and you can download hundred of already available user created levels, or you can play with others, or create your own.

I agree with that, Fallout 3 will keep you occupied for quite some time.

Old school RPG is a little trickier to come by in recent times, If you have the ability Persona 3 FES and upcoming in 2 weeks Persona 4 for PS2 are the best recent JRPG's on the market.
There is one very recent strategy RPG I would definitely recommend you together with LBP - Valkyria Chronicles. It's quite long, very well done in all aspect and my personal RPG recommendation for holiday purchase.
Action Adventure would fall under Uncharted and recent Prince of Persia, if you're looking for older game rpg/adventure - Folklore is great.
I enjoy games such as COD4, Motorstorm Pr, FIFA 09, Oblivion. Open to any type of game. I want a game that lasts me for a long time with good gameplay.
Thanks in advance!!!
I'll buy a game Don't know what to choose
ur opinions ?

If you're looking for a shooter, go for R2 or CoD: WAW
If you're looking for an RPG , go for Fallout 3, Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice or Valkyria Chronicles
If you're looking for a miscenllaneous, go for Prince of Persia

Well if you enjoyed Oblivion, try Fallout 3. Alternatively, if you enjoyed COD4, try COD: WaW. Or if you want a change in pace in shooters, try Resistance 2
Okay i'm stuck between R2 and Cod:WoW suggestions?
O yeah and in R2 can you sprint like you can in Cod?
Titans23
You can sprint in R2
Hmmmm, depends on what you want. If you want something more like CoD4, then get World at War but if you have CoD4 and you aren't all that interested in getting a game similar to it, get R2
