The PS3 Recommendation Thread-What Game Should I Get?(56k )Updated-Nov 14,2008

Getting a PS3 soon and I have a question. Will i enjoy LittleBigPlanet even though I have played Garry's Mod which is sort of like the same thing as LBP?

Guys, should I trade Oblivion in for Battlefield: Bad Company? I mean, I really enjoyed Oblivion, it was an epic experience, but then again it was the first game I owned for my Ps3 and it kinda grew old, kinda died on me. On the other hand, I'm really enjoying the BF:BS demo, mostly online, so I was thinking I could trade Oblivion in for it, but I don't want to regret it later. Then again, I could get Oblivion GOTY edition later on and play shivering isles as well if I ever feel like it. However, I can't seem make up my minf about it. What do you think? Thanks!sevansoares

dont trade-in a game you like..even if your new game will be your favorite game you will always regret it and miss your old game..I remmember trading in metal gear solid 3 for the ps2 after finishing it..traded it in for god of war 2 which I also really enjoyed but I still really missed mgs 3 missed it so much I bought it again..never traded in a game since..if u can afford it just buy battlefield bad company

I need something to tied me over until LBP. What should i get: Burnout Paradise, The Orange Box, Resistance: Fall of Man, Ratchet and Clank Future, Assassin's Creed, or the MGS Essential Collection. They are listed in the order i think i want but i want some advice please.Wiiingssbb

I don't know where to start,i don't know your prefered genre.

Burnout: Paradise.In this game you have a lot to do besides the normal missions.

The Orange Box:If you like FPS games,you should get this game.

RFOM: This game will keep you busy between 10-15 hours ,not much.

Assassin's Creed:This game might get you bored,but it's worth it.

ninja gaiden sigma if u want i GOOD CHALLENGE I MEAN I REALLY GOOD CHALLENGE

and assassins creed if you want a great fun game but pretty easy

decide what u like challenge or not very challenging

Ninja Gaiden Sigma.

If you like DMC, then you'll love Ninja Gaiden. Maybe get Assassins Creed in the future.

u can try heavenly sword, most racing games are rated below teen, soulcaliber 4 is also rated teen

u can also try little big planet when it's released

I already decided to buy Superstardust HD for 10 bucks and MK II at 5 bucks

So I have 15 bucks left, should I get Ratchet & Clank quest for booty? Because I want a long lasting game and I was just wondering if Quest for Booty will last long. Or should I just get something else?

Something online would be amazing, some people also recommended Bionic Commando but will it have online multiplayer support? Thanks :)

I was thinking on getting GTA IV but I've heard that sometimes it freeze the ps3 .. is it worth to buy it?? I have enjoyed the GTA series... Lucho_21

If you enjoy the GTA series, yes, go for it! There's a patch for it so it shouldn't freeze. It wouldn't run for me at all in the first week I got it but once I got the patch it hasn't frozen since.

Exactly,it will depend on your gamming preferences.I will say SC IV because it has a lot more to explore(characters).
