Who is Sony Computer Entertainment's TRUE mascot?

I wholeheartedly believe that Sackboy is (and should be) the face of PlayStation. I was going to include a sixth option ("Other"), but the poll only goes up to five.

None, I don't think the PS3 has one. When I think of Xbox and Nintendo the first thing I think of is Halo and Mario or Link.Supah_FLY

I agree, Playstation has a variety of different characters and they change every generation thanks to Sony's awesome developers creating new IP's. I consider these the mascots since it cannot be narrowed down to one.

PS1 - Crash Bandicoot, Spyro The Dragon
PS2 - Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank, Sly Racoon
PS3 - Sackboy, Nathan Drake, Cole

Kratos is omitted because he's far too violent to be a mascot.

During the old days surely it was Crash.

Ratchet, he has games on PSP, PS2, and PS3. With all his games, I'd say he's pretty recognizable and isn't going anywhere.

I had to go with Nathan Blake as it seems Uncharted has become one of the most popular and recognisable PS3 exclusives recently and seems to be the first IP people think of when naming a exclusive game for the console.

Nathan Drake or Ratchet I feel would be the true mascot. Nathan Drake for being their most popular game this gen and Ratchet because its carried through ps2-ps3 gen and still has great games.

Kratos.

Three main games, two HD collections based on I and II as well as the PSP titles and appearances in numerous games.

They're trying to force him onto people, it's obviously him. It can't be Cole because they almost completely changed the way he looked, now he just looks a little different.

Drake is a close second.

My vote goes to Sackboy, he is by far the best option. It would make the most sense marketing wise to use a character from an E rated game for the mascot. If the character they use should be from a game that everyone can play. The rest of the titles are rated mature, and as much as I love the rest of 'em they just wouldn't make as much sense.

That doesn't make any sense. Naughty Dog has only made 2 new IPs since the Crash Bandicoot series- Jak & Daxter and Uncharted. They don't "keep making new IP".

You forgot Jak Precursor Legacy, Jak II, Jak III, and Jak X Combat Racing.

My vote also went to the Heavy Rain symbol, even though I had said Sackboy. So that makes two.

I'd lean more towards Rachet because he's been in more than 1 game. More so than others in there own series. Than again, ever character is significant in the success of the Sony brand name.

Definitely Kratos. Is there a better series than God of War?

I have to go with Sweet Tooth or Ratchet or Sackboy.

To be honest... Sackboy is the best choice for their mascot.

But I still think Sweet Tooth should be considering that Twisted Metal has appeared on PS1, PS2, PSP, and on PS3 as well soon. It's also Sony's longest running exclusive franchise.
