Who liked Uncharted 1 more than 2?

I just finished the second game today and I must say that I enjoyed the first games setting, characters, and story a lot more. Having the whole soldier mercinary thing was not as cool as shooting random fighters and there was no jetski thing any more. :(

I liked the narrative and the charaters much better in the first one, but the second one was better in pretty much every way.

I actually prefer Uncharted 2, but one thing Uncharted 2 was inferior was in the lack of Sully.

im half way through uncharted 2 and so far uncharted 1 was way better(gameplay wise)

uncharted 1= kept me hooked/played all day

uncharted 2 =play when i have nothing else to do

I like the first one's story alot more. Part two made me feel cold, LOL , I hate the snow. Overall I really think I enjoyed part one more, and I never played it until about 3 weeks ago when I first got my PS3

I was kind of taken aback at the end of UC 2 when it turns out, AGAIN, that the artifact he is looking for turns people into mutant like beings. I was like, Come on, Really? Then I just got over it and enjoyed the rest of the game, but I do think the second one is much better.

While I haven't completed the second game yet I have to say so far its better than the first by a distance. The melee attacks feel better and some of the puzzles are much better.

Not me Uncharted 1 was great but Uncharted 2 was better as you go around different places and the characters were even better I like Lazarević playing the bad guy he was good. I like that Elena was a big part of the story again but it was a shame that Sully wasn't in it much. I'd like to see Sully get his own game but it should be when he was younge and it should be included as DLC. But Uncharted 2 had a lot more action and even the music was a lot better. But to be honest both are classic games.

I enjoy them pretty much both the same.

I would say the story was little better in first one but just marginally, Uncharted 2 however had improved technically on so many levels I'm surprised it was even possible. Animations, Controls, Voice Acting amongst other improvements are superb, not to mention Multiplayer adds many, many hours of gameplay and it's actually done well.

Hard for me to choose, overall package, Uncharted 2 is phenomenal game.

I have a feeling that younger people and those who are more into pure action will like the second one more where as people who like a solid story will find more to like in the first one. Second one at times felt a bit too over the top action wise.

I cannot even say I like this series yet as I picked up a used copy of Uncharted and the disc looks flawless and the game freezes up every single time at the second chapter after the gun fight on the ship, very upsetting as I want to get into this series, gonna return it and get a new copy tomorrow

I love the first game... But I have to say that I LOVED everything about the 2nd game a lot more. I enjoyed the plot twist at the end of the first one more than the plot twists in the 2nd one... but overall, the 2nd also had a better story to me as well.haze_blaze

However, I still found the pacing and overall story of the 2nd more satisfying. It really was more like a blockbuster movie than the first one... but yes, I did enjoy the surprises & plot twists of the 1st one better.

As good as the first one was, the 2nd one topped it every way imaginable in my opinion. I just beat it and its easily one of the best games I have ever played.

uNCHARTED 1 was an excellent game. the first game i played on my ps3 and what a way to start. ,my little sister watched me play through U2 and finished today and we both gave it a standing ovation when the credits rolled, we both havent done tha since she watched me play MGS4.

Well if nothing else UC1 had the sense of the unexpected where as UC2 was the same game over again which kinda made it more predictable. I think that UC1 is underrrated on this site and UC2 is a tad overrated it should be a 9 not 9.5. There are a number of glitches and control issues which are fairly common.
