i dunno... Canada seems kind of boring. nothing too exciting that isn't offered elsewhere.

Well, The Thing was filmed in Canada (although set in the Antarctic), and there was a game that took place directly after the film, so technically... :P

If you have seen the movie 30 days of night i think the plot to that movie would be a sick video game in a canadian setting in the northwest or yukon territories very isolated. if that 30 days of night idea doesnt work re6 would be unreal too!

The closest we've gotten to a video game is the Silent Hill game .. well really the movie itself, since some of it was shot in my hometown of Brantford Ontario ..

atlanta is only a couple hours from some of the best beaches in the U.S, panama city being one of them, lets see there is the world of cocacola , and we are only a hour from the mountains, sorry buddy, but atlanta trumps toronto,....hola at me when youve been ouside of canada/thread again.

Tons of movies have been shot in Canada, that's not rare or unheard of..but I havn't heard any game, I'm sure it would be just a good a game if the setting were somewhere else to all those "Canada is boring people", Canada rocks!

I'm confused by this thread. Is it about setting a horror game in a desolate Canadian (ghost)town? Or is it about bashing Toronto and Atlanta? I live in Vancouver and I don't see how you could call this place boring; mild weather year round, ocean to the left and mountains to the right! If you're so inclined you could swim/surf/sail in the morning, ski/board/? in the afternoon, and then try to find some night life (without being shot at!) at night.

My $0.02, a game set in the north in the winter would be interesting. Perpetual darkness except for the Aurora Borealis, no help for hundred/thousands of miles/kilometers, and limited vision due to snow storms. Whoever said a 30 days of night type game nailed it.
