I got my PS3 at launch and still own those games.

Now I love Sony as much as the next person, but wtf is Sony doing right now?

They are discontinuing the 60 GB model of PS3 in US, meaning the price cut was pretty much pointless seeing as it lasted for a month or so...and also once again they screw over any other countries outside of the US by not issuing any sort price drop, and instead bundling a couple games and a controller? Whooptee frigging doo...

With Sony pretty much winning this years e3, I thought they'd started getting their head in the right place, but then this? I, and i'm sure many others feel really let down. :(

Its the 80gig not being discounted....and ne way two games and a controller is about $170.00. Worth it to me.

like others have stated the eru deal is good....

over here in the U.S. 2 games ($59.00 each ..... $65.00 after tax) = $130

SixaxiS - $49.00...... = $55.00 after tax....

$185.00 saved.....LOL... I wish we had this when the system first released....... do u guys get any BluRay movies with this deal.....

Most people don't spend additional money on items they can get for cheaper in their own market.

Sometimes it is actually cheaper to buy from a foreign market. Typically, it's not a common thing, but it does happen.

This in the long run is gonna come back to hurt Sony. They're doing the same thing they did with forcing a blu-ray player in the PS3 (which caused it's price to be inflated) butthis time they're forcing a bundle on you at an expensive price that consumers had already rejected. I actually felt like the PS3 was making a turnaround after they dropped it to $499...now after hearing this news I feel like laughing &screaming atSony formaking anotherdumb move!

Wake-up people, the $599 price point has already been rejected by the mass so why force the same exact price point on consumers again. It doesn't matter weather your getting more value for what you pay...people still haveto ONCEAGAIN $599 to get into the PS3 experience. It kinda feels like Sony has their own agenda andit's NOTincluding the feedback fromallot gamers that just don't want to pay $600 tohop into the next-gen. Just because you throw a few games in there in keep the same $600 price doesn't mean that everyone will be receptive to it...that once again is leaving out choice for the consumer weather they want those included games or not! Ijust hope like hell Sony can get it right before it's too late.

If someone actualy DOESNT want motorstorm or resistance, there is somthing wrong with them... in the head, it just be my opinion but after playing them I feel as qualified as a fully certified Physiatrist to have that opinion. I think he means it will be better to wait for the 80GB PS3 gets released and drops to $499. I think the European bundle is fine. Considering how high the price is in that region, getting 2 games and an extra controller for the same price as they paid for the system at launch is a sweet deal. My only question about all these bundled deals is, "How long are they going to last?" Is this just until the end of the year?

If Sony have so-called denied this "rumour", why the hell is Kaz confirming it to be true earlier today in a video interview? How can they let someone like Kaz say something like that and then start denying? Ever thought they could be lying? Wouldn't be the first time...for any company really.

If I don't like a certain genre, I am in no rush to go out and get bundle that includes that kind of game. I have no interest in Motostorm no matter how good it may be.

And there's nothing stopping you from trading those games in for credit. $1 or $20, it's still money you didn't have to take out of your pocket and you didn't have to pay for them in the first place. If I got Barbie with my PS3 that's what I would do.

If that is in fact your p.o.v. than you should have explained it that way instead of leaving it up to our understanding of your two posts crying about how you're "not getting one now, boo hoo, see you all in a year or so, boo hoo". Just pick up the 60GB for $500 and take advantages of the offers. It's a better deal than a straight 80GB @ $500 anyway.
