Has any conservative or republican found the election fraud claim unlikely or far fetched?

@thenation: would Trump Russia collusion 2016 also count as the "Big Lie" ??

Do I think the 2020 election was 💯 all good. I dunno. I didn't count the votes. If they do an investigation and don't find anything then I'll assume it was all good. But do I know for sure? Nah

@sargentd: Nice deflection. That Russia thing lead to indictments and prison time, it was proven Russia did meddle.

Deflect. Investigations and recounts already happened, Trumps people admitted they had nothing. It was not stolen, admit it.

No. Facts bear out that Russia interfered in the 2016 election with an eye to getting trump elected.

@thenation: I don't know for sure, I didn't count the votes. Let them do an audit, if they don't find anything then I'd assume nothing nefarious happened. I think that is a very reasonable position to take. Seriously, how would I know 100% for sure either way?

Regardless Biden is in the White house, so he wins. Let's Go Brandon!

I've ignored this thread and let you people have your laughable circle jerk, but accusing someone of supporting a lie with something you can't actually prove is a lie is just being dishonest. You can disagree with him all you want, but to call him a liar for believing something you cannot prove wrong just makes you look ridiculous.

Republicans are always battling moments of sober thinking but at the end of the day they fall in line with the party narrative because ultimately they believe (1) not doing so will mean the democrats will take power and kill everyone and (2) the other side does it too

@sargentd: i think the tone of the thread has become much more agressive that i wanted.

But i am curious, you said let them do the audit and we will know, Which audit are you referring to?

The previous audits have not already done that?

@nirgal: there's not much we can do but do audits for clarity, (any audits on a state to state basis, I don't know what else you can do.

I will say the 2020 election was a unique one, alot of the voting procedure of voting was changed to accommodate having an election durring the peak of a worldwide pandemic. Mail in voting and changing rules on voting signatures and ID laws to accommodate the pandemic. It took a while to even get a clear answer on who had one. It took the last 5 states nealy a week to finalize the count.

I understand people wanting to have some clarity. So audits I think will help bring those folks who question it clarity.

Personally I don't really care all that much. I don't think anything will be found that will change the outcome. We are already almost a year in, it would have to be something absolutely outrages to cause any change. Biden is in for good if you ask me.

@sargentd: i see your concerns, though i cannot say i share them due to the context of the claims.

My concern is that this kind of claims in absence of evidence will set a precedent that will increase violence during transition of power and may lead to large scale conflict, during and at the end of future elections.

Anyway, an answer like that was basically the objective of the thread so i guess i will let it be.

@HoolaHoopMan: was a literal down the line partisan vote, Dems controlled the house. They decided to impeach with 0 evidence of what they were claiming. Even the president of Ukraine said it was a good conversation and he never felt he was being blackmailed or pressured at all. Yet the Dems still went for it, it was never a legitimate impeachment. They just wanted him out by any means necessary. So save the BS " Dems took the higher rode" narrative. They were nothing of the sort. I say this as someone who could care less about the republicans or democrats. I'm just disgusted by the democrats more for their blatant hypocrisy. There was no higher ground taken by the left. They set the bar so low and you should not be surprised by the opposition following suite.

Quit dodging topic. You've already shown yourself to have a tenuous grasp with the truth so there's no sense in having you retype the same falsehoods over and over. Back to the topic:

Do you believe in the big lie? Yes or No?

Everything he said was spot on. I love how the left is so offended by the insurrection at the capital but stood by and watched cities burn all summer long. Its the Ultimate hypocrisy.

@silentchief: well the insurrection at capitol was much more important as it was an attempt of coup d'etat

But I was also dismayed at how violent some of the black lives matter protests became and specially how some groups were allowed to take ownership of parts of cities and not allow the police in, basically leaving the people living at those places without proper protection from harm.

The cause was rightful in my opinion, but the way it happened was extremely negative and counter productive.

To me it looked more like emotional catharsis from the stress of the pandemic and the trump era, than an actual attempt at police reform.

Having said that, a coup d'etat will always be more important for the future of a country.

While it was indeed violent, and denying is foolish as the video exists, a coup does not inherently require any shots being fired.

In the US you would have a 0% chance of success without shots being fired. Outside of a few protesters pumped up on Meth nobody thought they were taking the capital. Again this is the most over exaggerated shit of the decade. You want to see violence? Check the BLM riots of 2020. 20+ dead and over a billion dollars in damage and all they could talk about is the " mostly peacful" protesters.

@silentchief: here is a video of an officer being beaten with an American flag.

And what do you think they were doing at capitol?

They went there to force the government to disregard the results of the election and have trump remain as president.

To align this conversation about the capitol attack with the main topic of the thread:

I believe the capitol hill attack was a direct result of the fraud claims.

When you no longer believe elections are fair, it becomes impossible in your eyes to influence government in a peaceful way. Since a change in public opinion will not translate in to votes that will choose governments.

Following this logic, the only way you can influence government is violence. Therefore an attack at capitol hill and an attempt to preserve the position of the previous president happens.

This is the danger of the claims and that is why they need to be analysed objectively and with logic.

@nirgal: I wouldn't worry about violence during transitions, conflict is most likely going to come at any time. This country is very polarized, the left and right don't want to budge. Almost anything can spark riots at this point. If the government pushes to hard on authoritarian policies. People will be fed up, they already on edge. Everyone right left, middle, everyone. It won't take a transition to spark violence.

The audit flagged about 50,000 votes. Ballots that were from the same person voting twice. From previous addresses, even from ballots that were never sent out in the mail. That is according to the report released by those who conducted the audit. You people ignore the published findings, and pretend a "leaked" result from a recount is the end of it. Except recounts and audits aren't the same thing, are they? Those 50,000 flagged ballots were counted in the recount. But you knew that because I pointed this out in a previous thread and even linked you to a video of the state senate hearing where these issues were laid out. The source footage you explicitly refused to watch.

They are most likely not the same person.

Look at their posts in SW for clear evidence of that.

Also, I recall Eoten being around when BlackHairedHero (SilentChief's previous account) was still around.

A far more likely explanation is that they both follow the same pundits, and echo chambers and thus... develop the same rhetorical strategies and adopt the same mentalities.

I don't like personal attacks but i dont think eoten can be convinced by showing him information. He doesn't even read the sources he provides.

He tried to prove covid vaccination was not adviced for young adults by using a link from WHO that stated all adults with access to vaccines should be vaccinated as soon as possible.

Then he tried to prove global warming was not caused by greenhouse gases by putting a graphic from an article that concluded global warming could only be attributed to anthropogenic green house gases.

For what is worth, the 17000 duplicate images (not ballots) exist. They were created to verify unclear signatures. They were not counted either by the actual electoral officials or by the "

Ninjas". Obviously if they had Found such a large smount of actually duplicated ballots their counting results would have been wildly different and they were almost identical.

And here you are being dishonest. I'll start with debunking your first comment. I said the Covid vaccine was banned for young adults, and I said it wasn't recommended for children. That's a fact.

Secondly, your second paragraph is erroneous to the point there's nothing to counter. The graphics I've shown were proof of cycles of warming and cooling periods that proved not only are we in a warming period, but the warmest parts of past cycles were well warmer than today.

And lastly, I just posted the link with the audit results. You clearly did not read it, or you'd realize the audit flagged a hell of a lot more than "unclear signatures." You're being intentionally dishonest.

And your last point, as I pointed out to the person above, a recount =/= audit. The 50,000 flagged ballots were not removed, and were present in the recount. This is why a recount is not an audit. A recount counts all ballots received, an audit determines if all ballots received are legitimate or not. Those doing the audit do not have the legal authority to remove ballots. I even pointed out weeks ago that the "recount" you people were citing was a so-called leaked document, and was published before Cyber Ninjas even released their findings of the audit. You people had your opportunity to get your facts straight then, you clearly refused to do so in order to continue to pretend the audit didn't find anything when it did.

You seem to be the one with an issue comprehending the information you are given. I can even cite other examples of you people believing the first blatant lies you read in the media despite being proven absolutely wrong. Remember when you people actually believed hospitals were being filled by people overdosing on Ivermectin?

You forget things fast

I asked

Which medical association is recommending young adults not to get the vaccine?

You said:

The World Health Organization for one.

Someone else read your source that said:

Take whatever vaccine is made available to you first, even if you have already had COVID-19. It is important to be vaccinated as soon as possible once it’s your turn and not wait.Approved COVID-19 vaccines provide a high degree of protection against getting seriously ill and dying from the disease, although no vaccine is 100% protective.

Then you said: well they are not saying that's specifically safe for you if you are over 18.

Your second point was about a graphic that you took out of context trying to claim that the existence of climate cycles proved global warming was caused by the change of solar intensity.

But the graphic was part of an analysis that concluded that current warming was due to anthropogenic greenhouse gases.

Which meant you either didnt read your own sources or you intentionally took it out of context.

@nirgal: His source also said it was not as ugrent to get young adults the vaccine, not that it wasnt recommended. He didnt read it and is now trying to twist things around to make it look like he did.

@thenation: it says that about children, not young adults

The COVID-19 vaccines are safe for most people 18 years and older, including those with pre-existing conditions of any kind, including auto-immune disorders. These conditions include: hypertension, diabetes, asthma, pulmonary, liver and kidney disease, as well as chronic infections that are stable and controlled.

If supplies are limited in your area, discuss your situation with your care provider if you:

Have a compromised immune system

Are pregnant (if you are already breastfeeding, you should continue after vaccination)

Have a history of severe allergies, particularly to a vaccine (or any of the ingredients in the vaccine)

Are severely frail

Children and adolescents tend to have milder disease compared to adults, so unless they are part of a group at higher risk of severe COVID-19, it is less urgent to vaccinate them than older people, those with chronic health conditions and health workers.

More evidence is needed on the use of the different COVID-19 vaccines in children to be able to make general recommendations on vaccinating children against COVID-19.

@eoten: going back to the last topic. I have watched the "audit" result on YouTube. I did not see where they claimed people voted twice.

Despite the fact that they are obviously completely partisan and claimed fraud before the "Audit" began, i would like to see that claim. I only know of claim of 17000 duplicate images.

Please show it to me.

@sargentd: Nice deflection. That Russia thing lead to indictments and prison time, it was proven Russia did meddle.

Deflect. Investigations and recounts already happened, Trumps people admitted they had nothing. It was not stolen, admit it.

The prison time was not a result of Russian meddling. Of the few people sent to prison the only one who deserved it was Cohen. The others were proven innocent or never should have gone to prison as it was selective prosecutions where the Republican was charged and the Democrat was given a pass. If you post something at least know what occured.

Again, the audit found more votes for Biden. Fact.

If you cannot understand the difference between audits and recounts, this discussion is well above your pay grade.

Arizona was not a simple recount. Fail. Apparently this conversation is way about your pay grade.

@sargentd: let's see how the next presidential elections go. I am not very hopeful.

You guys are too negative.

The far right, the ones that would actually be violent, is a very small amount of a minority in the US. The reason the Capital Insurrection was so bad is because law enforcement was not prepared for a surprise attack, and they've been too busy being scared of the wrong (read: the left) crowd when they should have been more worried about the other crowd.

The right was also heated after losing; there's nothing for them to get heated about next election. They're either going to win or not win.

You can bet your ass they'll be ready next time, though.

In related news, human garbage pile Tucker Carlson has been met with backlash after airing a trailer for his new 'documentary' which goes into Infowars territory and implies January 6th was a false flag attack. This is how you destroy faith in our democratic systems. You put out propaganda like this which fuels violence and distrust. This isn't some fringe lunatic either. Tucker Carlson is the most watched man on the political right in this country. This is what conservatives in the US tune into every week.
