@luzarius: if your logic and views revolve around memes, then you're already lost
NPC Meme
Here's some more rational thinking to support my argument:
If you can't understand how this is powerful, then it explains why Democrats are losing. I'm assuming you're a Democrat, leftist, liberal, progressive or whatever you call yourself these days.
Your mentality is easily identifiable because it mimics an NPC or someone who is brainwashed.

Hahahahahaahahahahahahahahahaha, unironically using the NPC meme as an insult. You do realize that using that meme says a HELL lot more about you than it says about Lostrib. And no, if your logic and views revolve around memes. Then you clearly lost... and ironically enough... the only person who is an NPC is YOU.
Simple maths is the basis of complex maths. But while complex maths may be built from simple math. Complexity is not derived from simplified talking points. There is no rational thinking in your "rational thinking" and your thinking is infact, founded in poor logic.
Memes are not designed to be nuanced or intelligent, they are talking points designed to spread and propagate. Memes have a terrible track record when it comes to accuracy. And memes are arguably the best way to spread around lies, preying on confirmation bias. Now that I think of it, MGS2 kinda warned about memes, before internet memes were a thing. Not just ingame, but the game's marketing too.
From politifact alone,

Ouch...
And that is just politics, in Science it has an even bigger track record of misinterpreting data, and promoting pseudoscience (anti-GMO, anti-Vax being extremely common).
Please tell me you're joking. Memes and bumper stickers strip all nuance and complexity from their arguments to little more than the conclusion they want to reach. They're not much more useful than tribal branding reinforcing the viewpoint by letting you know that someone else supports the viewpoint as well. At their absolute most complex they'll reflect some irony such as those "Thanks Obama!" memes, but no one is going to confuse those for a well supported and nuanced argument.

A meme is a method of communication. You can communicate truth or lies. Just because some abuse it does not make it bad. It's the same for a gun. It's the same for a truck. You're implying that 100% memes are bad and that's simply not true.
In a world filled with clickbait headlines and fake news, memes are a breathe of fresh air. Memes deny corrupt journalists from earning revenue, which I absolutely love.

Funny you mention clickbait and fake news.
Because Internet Memes are epitomize both. Due to their entire nature. The whole point is to be strip it down as much as possible to get a point across. Which results in a clickbaity half-truths at best, but more often carefully constructed lies.
Honestly... when it comes to sources and information,
Investigating the sources from first hand sources is the best source (social media usually makes this a lot easier these days)
>
High quality journalism (Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post, BBC)
>
Low quality journalism (CNN, MSNBC, Fox News)
>
Youtubers and Propaganda sources (Breitbart, The Young Turks)
>
Memes
Edit: Now there are some occational memes that get things right, but those are few and far inbetween. And once every blue moon they can be effective for making light of some irony. But those are entertainment, not information.
Your logic was: "Memes that spread lies exist, therefore all memes are bad."
Now apply your logic to journalism: "Articles that spread lies exist, therefore all articles are bad."

The NPC Meme is nothing short of brilliance: https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/npc-wojak - The right wing are not immune to NPC Wojak. Anyone can be guilty of falling into an echo chamber and becoming a mindless NPC, ANYONE.
Breitbart leaked the Google Memo that revealed Google's anti-American stance. https://www.breitbart.com/tech/2018/10/09/the-good-censor-leaked-google-briefing-admits-abandonment-of-free-speech-for-safety-and-civility/ - Google used to follow the American tradition of free speech, but now they've adopted the European tradition of censorship & moderation, a tactic that Hitler was very fond of. How can you deny that Breitbart has done a great service to the American people? How can you deny that when the objective evidence is right in front of your face in that link?
Still, there is some truth to your post. I watch and listen to all of the news outlets you listed. I compare the left wing interpretation of the facts to the right wing interpretation of the same facts and side with whoever makes the argument that's in America's best interests, not the globalists, not other countries. Like Bill Clinton said, we're all nationalists.

Dunno if you saw what I put in the edit. But it basically contradicted your strawman of my post.
"Now there are some occational memes that get things right, but those are few and far inbetween. And once every blue moon they can be effective for making light of some irony. But those are entertainment, not information."
The NPC meme is absolutely idiotic. It has nothing to do with Partisanship. But rather, a clear and obvious demonstration of **** poor critical thinking skills and cognitive abilites. Not to mention, no serious person cares if they are called NPC or whatever (including the person you used it against). Anyone who uses it unironically is permanently deemed a joke.
It wasnt Breitbart who leaked it, the leakers leaked it to breitbart, but it wasnt Breitbart, and it was pretty obvious long before. And like people have said in other threads... it has to do with capitalism, and how advertisers operate.
At least, on the bright side, it is good you pay attention to a lot of different views.
@luzarius: How is NPC still a thing and it’s neary 2019?
“You're like the inn keeper or blacksmith in Elder Scrolls..so like...yeah...”
This is the reason girls don’t want to touch your peepee. You were undoubtedly looking for an answer and now you have it.
You should look up the NPC meme.

NPC: "lol, you're so full of shit."
Me: "Can you explain why?"

Is the meme that you just spam basically the same thing over and over?
...Weird
But I guess this is your weapon in your fight against Happy Holidays. Good luck with that
I usually just say happy holidays to people. However, I dont think that Merry Christmas is an offensive statement. It's just somebody wishing you well. I wouldn't be offended if someone wished me a happy Eid or passover or what have you. Rather, I tend to get offended over things like someone giving me the finger or spitting in my face. But that's me.
I think the secular community needs to embrace the "Merry Christmas" thing to weaken it's religious significance and place it in the social sphere as a holiday for everyone, worked for Valentine's Day, St Patrick's Day, and Halloween, and it can work again.
I'm a minority and I prefer to say Merry Christmas or Happy Hanukah. Happy Holidays is too politically correct.
I was once at a store and the white cashier was saying Merry Christmas to all the white people, but when it was my turn she didn't say Merry Christmas. In that moment I knew Democrats, leftists & liberals were dividing me from my fellow Americans with their BS identity politics and I don't want that. She probably was taught to treat me different from my fellow Americans just because of my skin color, because she was brainwashed by racist liberals, leftists & Democrats. I told her Merry Christmas with a warm smile and she smiled and said Merry Christmas, she was so happy and a little surprised.
Until all white people say Merry Christmas to me in public, literally bombard me with Merry Christmas, I can't vote Democrat ever again. I'm middle eastern. Until all white people say Merry Christmas to me without FEAR of offending me. I'm voting Trump until I'm bombarded in the streets by Merry Christmas over & over & over again. I never ever want to hear HAPPY HOLIDAYS, F political correctness.
Have had this same experience as a black man. I feel the same as you.

It's gonna take a while for them to see that they have become what they feared. They'll swallow their pride over time. But we will need to connect to them and correct each of them with rational thoughts and preferably in a positive manner. So it's important that people do what you do here, and speak up about these things without attacking them.
It's a shame that with their echo chambers, it has become harder to show them the truth. It just means it's going to take a little longer.
Month old, but to throw my 2 cents in, it shouldn't be. Although I'm nonreligious/Gnostic Atheist, I grew up celebrating Christmas. So even though I don't believe in a Santa Claus or Jesus, I don't look at it as anything malicious. When someone says "Merry Christmas", "Happy Kwanzaa", or "Happy Holidays", you can pretty much read the context that they are simply wishing for your holiday season to go exceptionally well.
In contrast, even though I don't believe in a literal hell, if somebody says "go to hell", you can pretty determine its malicious intent in that whoever says it apparently wants you to experience unrelenting torture and suffering (Unless of course it was said in a joking manner)...
@tocool340: Same here, I've never been religious but I've always celebrated Christmas. So did many other non-religious friends and families. It's more than just a religious holiday now, and has been for a long time. It's a season of giving and caring, and there's nothing wrong with that. The eternally guilt ridden gender bending woke folk simply suffer from a mental disorder due to brainwashing.
@KungfuKitten: Agreed. I generally point it out when they have done it, while trying to stay away from "attacking" them; though I have found they informing them that what they are doing is also what they say they are against is taken as an attack, because you are outside of the group think, so obviously you are an aggressor.
Sometimes I think this world needs to go through another serious hardship....WWIII, a nuclear winter.....so we can stop with getting offended over which way the wind blows.
I totally get your sentiment but honestly I'd rather worry about stepping on someone's toes than stepping on a giant mutated rat or worrying about what child I need to kill so we can eat them to survive.
