Both impeachments, which had quite a bit of evidence and he was correctly impeached, were legal and constitutional. The 2020 election lie has resulted in several court cases and bills which were utterly shot down due to being insanely unconstitutional (wanting MILLIONS of votes DIRECTLY discounted FOR NO REASON). Some of the 2020 lie caused laws which comically passed are also seen as unconstitutional by many experts. Trying to sway election officials of some States are being looked into since you and I both know how fucked that is. Then we had clowns in high positions trying to get Pence to not confirm, which is unconstitutional.

None of this is like legally using a proper impeachment procedure lol. It's galaxies apart. Not even on the same plane of existance.

Several key members even flat out admit are done in the name of voter suppression. There is no excuse. Even MTG here clearly admits being in favor of voter suppression.

The US already has a serious problem of very few people voting. An issue that MTG would make even worse. Why is Marjorie Taylor Greene in favor of voter suppression? Your theories would hold more water if most those laws you claim are being changed aren't already adopted in several blue states. Or if you people didn't complain about common tasks like purging voter rolls which is done to remove people no longer eligible to vote due to having moved to another state, or died.

At any rate, how states conduct their elections are up to the states. Or else Trump would have had more standing to challenge the results last year as those were the grounds most those challenges were denied on.

Refusing to remove people ineligible to vote from the rolls, removing identification restrictions, mailing out ballots to people who didn't ask for them, not comparing signatures, and other stuff championed by democrats have nothing to do with improving election fairness or integrity. Nobody has made a valid argument for these actions yet. So let's stop pretending the big bad evil Republicans are the only ones messing with elections in a way that could reduce integrity or accuracy. If you're going to have this discussion, be intellectually honest about it, and leave your WaPo crap behind.

Last year alone 19 states managed to pass at least 33 laws, to make it harder to vote. And is this done in good faith? I doubt it.

Edit: I recall Democrats pushing for a voter ID last year, that was fairly sensible. But republicans rejected it. That said I cannot remember the name of the bill. So it can be taken with a grain of salt.

Guess what? I've read the bill. What it puts a limit on is drive-by voting, and voting during times where no poll watchers are available. Tell me, if Republicans are trying to pass laws to steal elections, then why is the other side crying fowl when a bill is written to ensure voting only happens when poll watchers on BOTH sides are present? Why is the left calling it some kind of restriction on voting rights to make sure it's done correctly, and legitimately?

And nowhere does it ban people from assisting others in voting. In fact, it protects those who need assistance voting from being manipulated and coerced by those claiming to want to help them.

The stuff Texas are doing is implicit, because that is what they can get away with. However, Marjorie Taylor Greene is explicitly advocating for what the others only are trying to do implicitly. So good on the american public on calling her out. Because what she is doing is deeply antidemocratic, and authoritarian.
