@LJS9502_basic: Let's be honest, neither were ideal. Trump might be a bonehead, but he isn't the racist, sexist, homophobic monster that the left paints him to be. That being said, a lot of the really bad things about Hillary are actually true...

Yes yes he is. He demonstrates that with his words and actions and apparently you either don't get it.....or choose to ignore it.

OK, how is he racist? Can you give me an example? How is he sexist? Can you give me an example? How is he homophobic? Can you give me an example? Where is your proof in regard to these allegations? And I don't mean a Google search, I mean off of the top of your head. The funny thing is, I am not even a Trump supporter, but this is getting really ridiculous.

Dude he and his father were sued twice for discrimination. And frankly after hearing what he said/says if you can't figure out his racism and sexism then I don't know what to tell you but I doubt you'd ever get it.

I don't care what happened 40+ years ago, I care about what happened in this election. This is typical left behavior- argue with emotion yet preset zero evidence or facts backing your claims.

Furthermore, what part of Trumps policies are racist or sexist? Point them out and we can talk about it.

@mighty-lu-bu: banning transgender people from serving in the military definitely ranks on the homophobia spectrum. He has numerous recorded bad interactions with women, particularly with Meghan Kelly and him bragging about sexual assault.

He consistently peddles pointless fear and resentment towards Latinos as a political tool. Even if illegal immigration is a serious problem the majority of illegal immigrants are not Mexicans and are not coming from the southern border, yet he still only targets the brown people. Meanwhile he has a habit of posting false, racist crap i.e fake stats on racial violence, he flips out immediately when POC (especially block women) slight him, but only manages some pitiful, limp dicked response after 3 days when neonazis literally murder someone and then tries to play the “both sides” bullshit card. Him appointing Bannon and Gorka to cabinet positions also didn’t help

So, banning transgender people from serving in the military is neither sexist or racist. In fact, homophobia and transphobia are just bullshit leftist terms that make little to no sense. Just because someone doesn't agree with homosexuality or transgenderism, doesn't mean that they are afraid of them, but that is a completely different discussion. I personally think transgender people are suffering from a mental disorder. I know from experience that you cannot actively serve in the U.S. military with a mental disorder and I believe the evidence out there supports this, but again, a different discussion for a different time.

Also, you are correct, illegal immigration is a huge problem in our country, but I don't find any of Trump's immigration polices to be inherently racist. I don't agree with the wall and I find it a bit ridiculous, but I am not seeing lot of racism here. Pretty weak augments from both you, but that is to be expected.

Let's look at the big picture here people, we shouldn't be arguing if Trump is racist or not, we should be arguing about policies.

You mentioned something that happened in the 70s... America is a different time now. I'll ask again, but I have my doubts because it doesn't seem like you know what you are talking about. Of Trump's policies, which ones are racist and sexist?

I'll wait.

So racism is okay now? He derides those that are not white and bases it on their race...ie the Mexican American judge. His judging women on looks only is sexist. He bragged about sexual assault. You know all this. I don't want to discuss it with an apologist and an enabler.

But don't come in here and expect us to believe you aren't a trumpette. You most certainly are.

So, let me get this straight, you don't really have a lot of evidence and you still failed to point out any one of his policies that are inherently sexist or racist, is that correct?

Well, this seems like leftist bullshit at it's finest and let me explain. There is actually a difference between liberals and those, like you, who I call the "left". Liberals actually want to engage in political debate and exchange ideas, while those on the left oppose (often violently), anything that differs from their subjective views. Instead of giving me concrete examples within his policies, you just spat he's a racist, he's a racist and you're a racist too for defending him!

Again, you really don't have much of an argument, unless you want to talk policies. If not, go back to one of your safe spaces and let the adults talk.

He really has given plenty of examples of racism and sexism throughout his campaign. It's hardly LJ's fault if you choose to ignore them.

I'm no fan of Hillary, but a lot of that was fluff and sensationalism.....and not actually illegal or even wrong doing. It was subjectively "bad". These people were hired by the GOP first, and there is nothing inherently wrong with this tactic.

However, Donald's Access Hollywood tape was real. And the content WAS bad. Trump's stance on Climate Change is real. And it is objectively bad. Trumpcare was objectively bad. Trump avoiding Russian interference did get the Intelligence Community chiefs concerned. That was objectively bad.

@Serraph105: I mean real racism, not allegations. It is true that the U.S. federal government sued Trump, his father and their company, but the case was also settled, Trump never admitted racism, and evidence of him being a racist were never found. That's your argument?

@zaryia: Not illegal? It's called criminal negligence at the very least and that is just the tip of the iceberg. Anyways, this topic has gone way off rails.

I said that Trump gave examples of both racism and sexism throughout his campaign, not stuff that went down over a decade ago. I didn't provide those examples because I refuse to play the game where I name a ton of obvious things and you dismiss them all because you refuse to open your eyes. I've been down that rabbit hole before with others and it's not worth my time.

Exactly- its a rabbit hole somewhere in the ether of la la land. What did Trump do that was racist during the election?

@zaryia: Well, in regard to her email server, the FBI said she was extremely careless with classified material and said that there were potential violations of the statute. In a more simpler context: she evidently violated federal law which in normal circumstances, calls for severe penalties for gross negligence in the handling of classified material. For us normal people, that would usually result in a felony and brief stay at a federal prison.

Well she was officially found not guilty for that. So that pretty much ends there.

Anything else? Trump's list is longer so far. Or is e-mails worse than admitting to sexual assault, trumpcare being a massive failure due to the harm it would cause dozens of millions, and ignorance of climate change which has planet wide effects?

Edit: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/10/24/clinton-campaign-dnc-helped-fund-research-that-led-to-salacious-trump-dossier-report-says.html Fox is now reporting as well.

The Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee helped fund research that resulted in a now-famous dossier containing allegations about President Trump’s connections to Russia and possible coordination between his campaign and the Kremlin, people familiar with the matter said.

Marc E. Elias, a lawyer representing the Clinton campaign and the DNC, retained Fusion GPS, a Washington firm, to conduct the research.

After that, Fusion GPS hired dossier author Christopher Steele, a former British intelligence officer with ties to the FBI and the U.S. intelligence community, according to those people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

Elias and his law firm, Perkins Coie, retained the firm in April 2016 on behalf of the Clinton campaign and the DNC. Before that agreement, Fusion GPS’s research into Trump was funded by a still unknown Republican client during the GOP primary.

The Clinton campaign and the DNC, through the law firm, continued to fund Fusion GPS’s research through the end of October 2016, days before Election Day.

You are also missing the russian connection with the Uran deal and also the "mysterymeet" between Comey and Clinton on the airfield.

But no surprise Clinton is crooked like all the rest of the politicians

@zaryia: Well, in regard to her email server, the FBI said she was extremely careless with classified material and said that there were potential violations of the statute. In a more simpler context: she evidently violated federal law which in normal circumstances, calls for severe penalties for gross negligence in the handling of classified material. For us normal people, that would usually result in a felony and brief stay at a federal prison.

Emails again? If that's true you best round up most of trump's administration and arrest them as well.

So looks like Trump was the only one that didn't collude with Russia. Spin it how you will.

Technically buying information isn't colluding. And to be totally fair....trump was paying for information as well. So there's that.........

It was severely mishandled. All kinds of new stuff is coming out. The informant also has recorded conversations, emails, etc all kinds of proof and is going before congress.

I've said before. I think both should be investigated. Obama is involved in this new evidence for that Uranium One deal.

When have you said that?

Multiple times and you said we shouldn't involve Hillary, just Trump because he's the president and it would be a waste of money. I then said that if there is foreign influence we should investigate all facets of it. You repeated your narrative.

Well yes what trump does is of importance. Private citizens not as much. But I don't believe you called for any investigation into trump.

I said they should both be investigated multiple times. She still has political power. The Clinton family does.

Do you agree with what has been brought to light, that both Hillary and Trump should be investigated?

She is a private citizen. Until she gets involved politically then I'd rather not waste the money. DUh

If so, go ahead with it. But still, the emails really are a thread of their own. I guess it depends on where you guys want to take this topic. Discuss all that this one informant had of information, or keep it to why the topic was created in the first place.

I also tend only to close topics if they go off topic rather quickly. This one is closing in on 100 posts, so no I won't lock it. Unless it changes completely (like it suddenly belongs to another forum in here)
