[QUOTE="Innovazero2000"]I hate both teams, and it was most certainly boring. But that's typical of Big Ten football.[QUOTE="murlow12"][QUOTE="Delta055"]lol all the haters call it "boring" because their precious wolverines got beat. GO BUCKEYES!!!murlow12
It was cold and raining, lets see how well your PAC-10 survives in a trench matchup in those conditions. Running and Defense wins those games.
Say what you want about the Buckeyes, but the PAC-10 isn't anything special either.
and what do you mean score? other then Oregon (which averages 40pts a game, but thats was with Dixon) OSU averages more poitns a game at 32 then the rest of the PAC-10 (ESPN), and only allow 10pts.
Come on now... we'll see though.
That's b/c OSU doesn't play anybody, and the PAC 10 beats itself up. The Big Ten is garbage this year. Period.Don't give me that excuse... the "elite" of PAC-10 has lost to garbage teams. USC lost to stanford (3-7), Oregon lost to Arizona (5-6), Cal is not that great this year, with loses to Wasington, Oregon State, etc
Arizona State is pretty good, but they don't face jack either except Oregon (which they lost) and USC.
At least OSU lost to a respectible and very fast team in Illinois. Oregon was the conference's big shot this year, but without Dixon...they aren't the same team.
Seriously, your arguement doesn't hold water. I'm not saying OSU had a hard schedule...but your PAC-10 shouting sounds about as loud as SEC fanboys, but the SEC have every right to wave their flags.
The point is either way, there is not one dominant team this year....not one, from anywhere. Almost everyone has been either upset or have lost to an unranked team. There is nothing anyone can say to get around that, because its fact.
We'll find out either way, because unless a couple more upsets play in OSU's favor. Someone from the PAC is going to face them in the Rose Bowl. Oregon, USC, or Arizona State. If ASU can beat the Trojans, thats who it'll be.
