Fantasy Football: Start 'Em/Sit 'Em Thread

From looking at what you have, I think that you have the best line-up. I did sit Hakeem Nicks and put in Nate Burleson in one of my leagues because Burleson has been consistent last 2 weeks and is bound to get a TD pass eventually and this could be his week.

Right now Megatron is probable to play, as long as he does it helps Burleson take advantage of single coverage. Some people wouldn't sit Nicks but I am taking the risk this week. :?

I just looked at NFL.com start 'em sit 'em and saw Nicks in the owners beware section. Says the Eagles have allowed the 3rd fewest fantasy points to wde receivers. I feel that's more evidence to add to what you were saying earlier :D So Burleson is in..fingers crossed he has a solid game

- Antonio Gates seems like he won't be playing. Not official it will be a gametime decision.

- Miles Austin is out this week and probably the next as well.

- Albert Haynesworth and Patrick Chung is ruled out for Week 3. ( Favorable for Fitzpatrick and Bills recievers)

- Mario Manningham ruled out for Week 3.

- Sydney Rice is Active and makes debut for the Seahawks.

- Roy Williams expected to be Active.

I thought Chris Johnson falling to me at #5 in my draft was lucking out... now I'm wishing he hadn't because I'd probably have taken A.Johnson or D.Mcfadden there. C.Johnson is sucking hard with his new contract!!! All that money is weighing him down.ohjtbehaaave

Yeah... we had our draft after Johnson signed... otherwise I never would have even looked at him. He's sucking hard so far this season.

Smartest thing I did this season was to draft Wes Welker. Funny cause most of the people in my league thought that drafint him over Ochocincho was stupid. :lol:

Yea, but I still think its too early to see rice better than Desean andNicks. Lets not forget that they were playing against Arizona's defense.

I could see him starting over Burleson. They are playing against the Falcons in Week 4.

I like Moore. The Pats are among the worse, if not the worse, pass defense in the NFL. They have currently given up the most passing TDs, and Moore has been good for two weeks. DO NOT start Willis McGahee. Green Bay is allowing 2.5 YPC this year.No_Hablo_Ingles

I just picked up Nate Washington for Reggie Wayne. I think he might be big with Kenny Britt on the IR and this is his chance. Gonna play him and Devery Henderson over Santana Moss with Sidney Rice in the spread. I hope I win. I don't like that you dropped R.Wayne. I'd have stashed him until things improved with the Colts. Also M.Colston is coming back this week... so D.Henderson is a shaky play with L.Moore, R.Meachem and Colston playing again.

And I'm easily starting S.Moss over N.Washington. I have both also. I considered N.Washington over M.Williams of Tampa... but I think N.Washington is going to have the tougher matchup this week because the Browns actually have a decent secondary and a pretty good shut down CB. I think S. Moss has a chance to have a big day against the Rams D(look how the Ravens abused them) and M.Williams is OVERDUE for a breakout game(as far as my guys go). If he can't do it vs the Colts he may never do it this year.

I didn't drop Wayne because of a slow start. I dropped him because a wide receiver is only as good as his quarterback. I just think that without a decent QB to throw him the ball he's pretty much useless. It's the same reason I dropped Vinatieri for John Kasay. The Colts have no offense without Manning and it's hard for a kicker to produce without that. While he's doing better than I thought he'd do, Kasay has worked out so far... But you're right. The Rams secondary sucks. Moss over Washington it is.
