For a chance to play for the NBA Title.

I'll say Lakers in 6. I haven't followed these teams very closely so its pretty much a complete guess.
Lakers in 5
This is just a total mismatch for the Suns. The only advantage the Suns have is their bench but other then that Lakers should handle them just like they did in the regular season. LA has the the better defense and offense and when the game is on the line they have the best finisher in the game
Lakers in 4. The Suns don't play defense. Their hands are going to be full with the Lakers post players. They have no one that can guard Kobe. And the Lakers have the best defense in the league, one that held the Suns to a hair above 41 percent shooting this year. The Lakers match up well with Phoenix.-Halftime-wrong, the whole reason they're playing great is because they've become a better defensive team, phx is a good/very good defensive team nowadays. Nevertheless I still think Lakers pull it out in 6-7 games.
The suns do and if you've followed the nba you'd realize they're a huge buzz now because their defense is now very good. This won't be a cakewalk, steve nash is lightyears better than fisher (think what russell westbrook did to the lakers) but the suns aren't bad defensively, at least not anymore.Lakers play both offense and defense. Suns don't. Lakers in 6, probably 5.

Suns all the way for me, i think they will beat L.A in 6 or 7.
But at the end of the day, it doesn't matter who win, Magic will beat any of them.
Soon enough? How about waiting till next Monday for Game 1 lolpredictions don't matter. we will know soon enough. let's just sit back and enjoy.

 The spurs still averaged 100 points a game in the series. Great defense indeed. They simply outscored them, idk what defense had to do with it. Not to mention the Spurs shot 68 percent from the FT line. Suns and defense
Sadly, Lakers in 6.
Why even bother have a Western Conference Finals anymore? You KNOW the Lakers are going to win it, it's been what, 7 times the past 10 years? Jesus no wonder the NBA is so unpopular these days, it's becoming way too predictable.
Phoenix hasn't been there since 1993 so it would be good to see a fresh face in the NBA Finals. At least the Eastern Conference has some parity, so it makes it more interesting.

Just because you let a team score over 100 points doesn't mean bad defense.
The Jazz averaged 102 points against the Lakers. On the other hand, the Suns only "allowed" 101.2 points per game with the Spurs.

All I am trying to point out is that the Suns are better than "middle of the pack" there is no way the laker have the best d in the nba... have you been watching the celtics and magic?? Plus how do the laker give up 102 PTs a game against a team as beat up as the Jazz and are the best team in the nba? The jazz were missing Okur who averaged 13.5 pts in the reg season and Andrewjo averaged 11.9 pts in the reg season and is a defensive presence..[QUOTE="-Halftime-"] They're a middle of the pack defensive team.... Sorry good sir, but that title belongs to Orlando.

Bynum? Lamar? And especially Kobe? They are just as small as Utah. Look what happened to Utah's bigs. Look what Kobe did to Wes Matthews. Meanwhile, the Lakers have shut down the Suns all year. J-Rich averaged 9 PPG this year against us and Stoudemire averaged 19. They can't guard us. We can guard them. Lakers defense>>>>>>> Suns defense. There's not a shotblocking or rebounding presence on their roster let alone a shut down on ball defender.[QUOTE="-Halftime-"][QUOTE="M_1_A_M_I"] The suns held Portland to an average of 93 points a game and they held San Antonio to an average of 100 points a game. Sorry good sir, but that title belongs to Orlando.
The Lakers will always be the best in every category for him lol. However, the Lakers defense to me is better than Orlando with Artest, Gasol, Bynum, Kobe and D-Fish you should be happy to score 80 on em if you ask me.[QUOTE="bobcheeseball"][QUOTE="-Halftime-"]Lakers in 4. I mean think about it the C's have Rondo probably the best defender at the pointguard position, Paul Pierce, KG, Ray Allen,Perkins, and they have coming off the benchTonyAllen and Rasheed Wallace despite the criticism he averaged 1 stl and 1 blk a game.[QUOTE="bobcheeseball"][QUOTE="-Halftime-"]Lakers in 4. It was a typo, I meant to say the we had the best defense in the West, I have a lot of respect for Orlando's defense. But we've been top 5 all year long. Best believe if the Lakers defense is garbage I'm going to admit it, I love my team but I'm not blind.[QUOTE="bobcheeseball"][QUOTE="-Halftime-"]Lakers in 4. The Suns don't play defense. And trust me a shoot out with the Magic is not what you want so I give them the edge.
I'm rooting for the Suns. The Lakers almost lost to OKC lol, the Suns are like OKC 2.0CleanPlayerExcept without a great defense and Serge Ibaka. The Thunder are younger and more athletic as well. There's no team like OKC left. And I too an pissed at the one week wait. Can't wait for it to start.

Touche' my friend. I'd rather have Howard in the paint than Bynum. they've defended better than they have all year, and in the fast paced offense, or possions per game, 100 pts is decent. you'd be naive to believe otherwise, this isn't the old suns[QUOTE="M_1_A_M_I"]The suns held Portland to an average of 93 points a game and they held San Antonio to an average of 100 points a game.
