Yannakos

Jay Cutler, are you serious?

I'm as serious as a heart attack.

Once again, ill repeat that this is a recent list and not an "All-Time" list, but rather an "All-Time" in recent years*. And to be honest with you, Cutler is an extremely talented QB, and is in a sticky situation with not having any real dominent WR's and a decent running game to support him. All will change when Brandon Marshall ends up with his former teammate again.

they did have a good running game until cutler got there this year. the whole offense seemed to have an identity crisis this year. he does need some receivers.

[QUOTE="FastrThanyou"]like yannakos i'm not gonna comment on people I never watched, but i'd say.. 1 Tom Brady 2 Drew Brees 3 Phillip Rivers 4 Big Ben 5 Payton Manning From the first time I saw Aaron Rogers come in for farve during some game he got injured or whatever, I knew he'd be great, and he's on the way to that list too. Hell maybe he should be there now. Darth_Revan_666

Big Ben over Peyton Manning? ARE ******* KIDDING ME?

Peyton is over rated, seriously. He has the best core of receivers for most of the decade and gets one championship? How many times does he screw up big games? Look how clutch Big Ben was with that last second td to win the super bowl. Not to mention Ben does it outside of a dome, actually in a much worse place to play.

I agree that with a WR core that Manning had since he pretty much started to get good in the 2000's with Harrison then Wayne, and might I add a really great running game with Edgerrin James, Manning is indeed a bit overrated, but as a QB he is better than Big Ben and even Rivers. Better on the run and better escapability (new word) from the pocket obviously Ben, but the first SB he won was won soley on that PIT defense, so in my eyes Ben has only won one SB against the Cards.

I'd say they're very close, I just don't really see Manning as one of the top qb's in the league. They make it into the playoffs just about every year and blow it, usually against the chargers. Almost every time they do play a good team during the regular season they're at home. There are no worse reffed games then the ones played at Indy. The Colts owner is on the competition committee, so even when the refs performances are questioned they're found to be correct.. well of course, the owner of the Colts is one of the ones judging it! (like back in 07, Pats at Colts, the Pats won but it was a disgrace of a game, and again this year when the Pats made the fourth and two but the refs spotted the ball wrong) So yeah.. Manning plays in a dome, has home field advantage against most good teams, and has the refs at his side, plus a good team and coaching staff around him. He's obviously good, but not as good as he gets credit for.
