Those reasons come soley in the post season though. A-Rod became a notorious regular season monster and at the same time a playoff failure. The fans, being frustrated booed him and heckled him when he struggled. Now when he is finally coming through, in such uncannily clutch moments if I might add, they are loving him, because that's what it takes to earn the hearts of Yankee fans. Now for some reason I don't think you give a ****. Quite frankly I don't care either way, but for those who've been confused on the position of Yankees fans on A-Rod, that's the answer. I didn't really like how Game 3 went, but we didn't deserve to win that game, allowing them to come back from 3-0 on two home runs. With CC Sabathia due to pitch one, maybe two more games and the series possibly going back to New York, I think the Yanks are safe.. but Tuesday nights game will make the picture more clear.
