Master_Live won't be happy about this, eh I wouldn't say I disagree with him either. white_sox
We did fine with one thread throughout the whole season and didn't have problems when different games were going on. There's not really any need for a ton of threads to be all over the first page.
Plus unless something unexpected happens how many posts are really going to be on a thread like Spurs/Grizzlies? It's not like there are a bunch of fans for either team here.
I like the Heat and Bulls so it would be nice to see either of them go all the way...but I doubt the Heat can this year.
Be pretty cool to see Kobe andLA get another 3-peat before Phil retires. I dont know though. They've already made it to the Finals 3 times in a row.

This board doesn't move fast enough to warrant any type of sticky. Blipping Fact. What the hell is wrong with you nocoolnamejim? Threads for each series is how it has been done FOR YEARS. How about a hand off approach?, let the users make the content and only interfere when is absolutely necessary. Awesome, ONE thread for the whole playoffs, genius. Maybe he got jealous of you always being the TC.
Playoff time is always tough here in the Pacific Northwest, especially since the Sonics were just starting to get legit when they left.monkeytoes61
You sound like you could be the spokesman for Seattle sports.
I want to see either see OKC or Chicago win it all. I think I'm going to puke if the Lakers win it for the 3rd year in a row.
Yeah, I laughed at his response:lol:Poor Master_Live, what'll he ever do if he can't make the official threads on GS

I think an Eastern and Western conference playoff thread would have been more appropriate than either approaches. We do not need a thread for every single series, but I do not feel a 'single' thread is enough to give posters enough breathing room. A single thread for the season is fine, but the playoffs bring out the most fans and discussions by far.. throwing that into one thread is like throwing 10 pounds of crap in a 5 pound bag.
I'd like to see the Thunder go far. Can oyu imagine a Thunder vs. Bulls final? I think that would be interesting.
But as for who is going to win it all, the Spurs have been consistent but I would not count the Lakers and Celtics out. The Heat could go far but they really have to be consistent.

+ 1 for Thunder. a captivating team with amazing players. i'm especially interested in seeing how well KD will perform in real deal... if last playoffs were of any indication, chances are good that he'll shine :D

I dunno. He didn't do too well in last year's playoffs. (At least compared to his regular season stats.) Link Of course it WAS his first playoff series and he went up against the Lakers. I'd expect better out of him this year. You should lose Internet privileges for uttering a joke so unfunny.I wonder if Kobe will say "Well this is ****ing gay when they don't get the 3-peat?

Wish we could have separate threads for each series, oh well.
GO PACERS!!!!
My guess if I was betting is Lakers vs Celtics or Bulls again in the finals.
My fanboy dream pick? Pacers vs Blazers :)
I think there are going to be alot of close series this year, cant wait!
I have my first-round predictions on my blog there : onehandedbouncepass.blogspot.com
If I really had to make a Finals predictions, I'd say Bulls-Lakers, and probably Lakers in 6. I trust Phil and co. to come through when it matters most. Like the Celtics, I'm not writing them off until they trail a series 3-0 or something.
My dream Finals? Sixers over Lakers in 5!
I don't really expect the Grizzlies to win a championship this year but I'm hoping they can get their first playoff win.
GO GRIZZLIES!
Playoffs aren't even good until the Conf. Finals, so one will suffice. The arena is going to be electric since they brought back the white hot heat, like 06. :D
Blackout was so fail
Not a good start for the Bulls...JML897
Eh, Pacers are giving it all they got and they're only up by four. If the Bulls can get their D squared away and start getting their perimeter shooting going then the second half is going to be a different story. Thibs definitely gave his team a scalding at half, they're going to come out different in the second half.
