[QUOTE="Thefatness16"]

LeBron went to the locker room. I doubt it's anything serious, knowing him, but still it's not a good sign.

EDIT: Cool, seems like it was nothing.

yokofox33

He did tweak his ankle the last preseason game. He probably aggaravated it and just needed to readjust something.

Just cramps. I doubt it'll effect his next game.

Rondo has been a wussy for years. Can't stand him. Kid has talent but he's a sore sport and a fake tough guy.

I don't think Kobe should play, no need to risk anything.

Good job, good effort. :P Glad I have Rondo on my fantasy team. He's like LeBron lite if you ignore his terrible FT%. Looks like he's hitting his jumper consistently.

Looks good so far, hopefully he keeps it up. Getting a lot of easy shots with all the other great players the Lakers have this season.

[QUOTE="white_sox"]KG is the best  :lol:white_sox

What did he do? I missed the second half of the first quarter.

Ray went over to the Celtics bench, he didn't even acknowledge him when Ray hit him on the shoulder.

Lol KG, I can't blame him.

I'm pretty pissed at the sloppiness to end that quarter. Way too many turnovers and missed free throws. Little inexcusable things. And not good enough defense on the perimeter. They're just letting the Mavs take some of these jumpers, no closeout. Come on.

Ty Lawson got a new deal with the Nuggets. 4 years, 48 million deal.

In regards to the game, I expected this to be a blowout, with Dirk MIA.

What the guys on TNT said is spot on, Lakers need to run a little bit more. Otherwise they've effectively neutered what Nash is best at and they've neutralized a dangerous part of Dwight's game as well, the transition game. No center in the league can run with Dwight. Push it more!

Obligatory first half of the first game of the season yada yada, but Collison and Roddy B lighting up Nash isn't a great sign.

They're just playing awful now. Rushing it on offense. Terrible on defense. Need a spark. Too many missed free throws. Nash couldn't guard a toddler.

Lakers trade players too much. I don't see Howard working well with Kobe because Kobe is a bog hog.

It's not Kobe's fault that Dwight is 2-9 from the line, don't be crazy.

Kobe IS a ball hog but what does that have to do with Howard? Lakers need Howard to be the best damn paint protector and rebounder he can be, plus dunking a lot. That is it. Gasol/Kobe/Nash can take care of the rest.

One of the bigger downsides to Howard. Don't be surprised seeing the Hack-a-Shaq tactic later in the season if he doesn't show consistency like he always has

The shots are spread out evenly tonight. Nash needed to be aggressive more and everyone needs to shoot free throws better. Ron was the worst player on the floor for either team, just horrible. If the Lakers lose(And it looks that way right now) it will be because of free throws and just horrible, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE defense in the second half. The Mavs get everything they want, there's not anyone near the play on some of these plays, and the Lakers are getting punked on the boards, which is just asinine to me.

LOL, one game makes a season. Just stop. You don't know what you're talking about. The Lakers aren't going to win 70 games and no one said they would. One bad game a season does not make.

Yeah, going on about the Lakers because they didn't win this game is kind of silly. It's the Heat circa 2010 all over again. That team must've lost their season every two games or so.

Come on bro? How you trying to down play this. They got 3 super stars on the floor and they were down by 15 at one point. Just shows you how this season is going to play out.

Once again, it's one game. There's not a basketball team ever that hasn't had a bad game. It happens. There's 81 more to go. There would be no need to crown the Lakers if they won, and there's no need to dismiss them because they lost. The Finals aren't won on Mischief Night.

Yeah, people forget the 9-8 start and stuff. Lots of new players, new offense, Rome wasn't built in a day. I saw a lot I didn't like tonight, but I'm not going to overreact. If the Lakers made their free throws, the Lakers would have won comfortably, probly by 10 plus. They need to speed up the offense, they're neutering Nash and Howard with this walk it up stuff.

You know what? I know almost everyone hates what Rondo did to Wade, and people will discuss KG not even acknowledging Allen, but I love the way they play. Most Basketball fans complain about the lack of rivalries in the NBA, and how stars are forming super teams and whatnot... if that's you, how can you complain about it? Rondo and KG honestly do not like the Heat. Not even a little. Wade, LeBron and Bosh probably feel the same. This is a true NBA rivalry. Maybe one of the last few rivalries in Basketball, and one of the best recently in sports. I can't wait to watch these two teams play again.

Rome wasn't built in a day. -Halftime-

But then again Mike Brown wasn't in charge of constructing Rome... :P

My question is what was the point of acquiring Nash if they don't want him to control the offense? If he's going to play a Derek Fisher role, he's going to be even worse because f*ck I'm pretty sure I could score on Steve Nash at this point.

But yeah, its just one game, the Lakers have some issues to sort out, so did Miami and that I hear they're pretty good.

Looking forward to Indiana whooping them tomorrow.

I agree with you 100 percent. Why even spend all that money on Nash if you're going to do this? If I was Jim Buss I'd be in Mike Brown's office telling him to give Nash the keys or GTFO. This is just stupid if this is how they're gonna use Nash all year.

it's not bull... i watch every game.. ..trust me..it's gasol.

ever since the back2back titles ..kobe got all the awards and he got jack... i swear that got to him and made him stop trying... that's why when we went for the threepeat we got murdered by dallas... remember phil jackson chewing out gasol on those games? he is the sole reason we didn't 3peat.

you have to watch gasol play since he was traded to the lakers to see it.iwatched him year after year and i see it.. all your basketball knowledge and you are an average idiot...

gasol gets soft when the game is on the line or takes bad shots when we most need a score... he is just so good that he knows how to hide it to make it look like he is trying but he is not....he shouldn't have 25pts today... howard should have dominated and nash should have had 10 assists... this jerk off kills the game for everyone else..

he is just a troll on the laker team... they need to replace him with someone who is at least almost as good.

No, Nash would have had 10 assists if the team would have hit shots and/or Mike Brown would let him run the offense. He was off the ball A TON tonight. Howard would have scored 30 if he could hit a few free throws. I don't understand how this is Gasol's fault. He played well. He hit shots, rebounded(About the only guy on the team that did) and had some nice dishes. He got lost on defense a few times, but that was a team wide problem tonight. You're just looking for a scapegoat and using a not very good one. Watch the games.

so you say its kobe, world peace fault they didnt hit shots for nash to have 10 asists? gasol stops nash's offense dead in it's tracks every possesion...

here is the clue you can use since you don't see it... almost eveytime nash has the ball who does he pass it to? pau gasol at the top of the key... every fricken time.. it's like nash is saying...LOOK this guy can do something...but what does gasol do? he stands with it and passes it.
howard is never going to score 30 points with gasol on the team...

you just see his pts and rebounds and think he is the best player on the floor right?... he may be the best player but he is just covering his ass while sinking the whole laker team in the meantime..

The awful defense that was played team wide in the Dallas series, and exhaustion.

they need to get gasol the hell out...

he is killing the team.... he has been a liability ever since the season where we got swept by dallas...

GET RID OF HIM!!!

KBFloYd

LOL, you blame Gasol every year even though he was probly the best player on the floor today besides Kobe. Please, we all know you don't know what the hell you're talking about, so spare us the brain cells we lose by reading your posts and quiet down.

you have to watch gasol play since he was traded to the lakers to see it.iwatched him year after year and i see it.. all your basketball knowledge and you are an average idiot...

gasol gets soft when the game is on the line or takes bad shots when we most need a score... he is just so good that he knows how to hide it to make it look like he is trying but he is not....he shouldn't have 25pts today... howard should have dominated and nash should have had 10 assists... this jerk off kills the game for everyone else..

he is just a troll on the laker team... they need to replace him with someone who is at least almost as good.

I'm curious who'd you'd replace him with.
