Christmas day is near and with it one of the most anticipated matchups of the year. So who you got?

I like both teams but I am rooting for the Heat...sorry Lakers.
I really don't know. Could go either way. I really hate how people keep saying that the Heat are not a complete team because of the injuries and stuff. It's true but when you have 3 huge players in Wade, Lebron and Bosh that shouldn't matter (at least not in the regular season).
Lakers. The Heat don't have the size to compete with Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum as well as Lamar Odom. Not to mention they have the best player in the NBA.
I am a Miami fan so of course I will say Heat but ask me that a few weeks ago and I thought for sure the Lakers would kill us. Now its the Lakers struggling and we are playing much better. I just want to see the Heat beat one of the very best teams in the league.dvader654Yeah, that would be nice so the whole debate about "can the Heat defeat teams who are serious contenders for the championship" nonsense can end, or at least be seriously dumbed down.
"Thanks for blowing us out again on Christmas, you know what that means" "What does it mean, Kobe?" "Another championship for me, and another embarrassing playoff exit for you, ahahahahahaha"I wish i could hear what Lebron and kobe were yelling at each other towards the end of the game!

Wait what? 82 games, i'm guessing you play your conference a hand full of times and every East team at least once, aren't they all pretty much the same kind of schedules?Seems they were right
Kobe can't move like he used to and the Lakers are a product of a pathetically weak schedule this season

I suspected this would happen, sooner or later the Lakers will be over the hill and just won't hang, or it can be another case if a team stepping up to play against them, but in the playoffs it will be a different story. Over the course of the season, yeah. But so far the Lakers have had one of the easiest schedules in the league. That'll change though, considering the state of the Western and Eastern conferences as a whole.

People were saying this same stuff last season too. ;)
Yeah, they beat the NBA Champions easily. Whether they can do it in a Playoff atmosphere is a different story, but I hope people stop bringing up the debate of whether they can defeat .500+ teams already.Didn't think the Heat would blow LA out, but I'm happy nonetheless. Fantastic game for the Heat, and a quality win against a great team.

And LeBron 5-6 from behind the 3pt line? Daaaamn. I might have to start worrying about my Celtics soon...
Well I thought the Lakers would of made it a closer game but I can understand losing to a good team like the Heat.
The really surprisng loss was the blowout by the Bucks. I Didnt even know until they mentioned it on air today and Im pretty sure I heard correctly. Thats just ugly and I didnt even see it.
On a side note, anyone hear Jeff Van Gundy say Wade was the SECOND best player on the Heat? Them fighting words :P I mean it's Wade's team first which I know doesnt necessarily make him the best player but I'm surprised he'd voice that on TV. IMO Wade and Lebron are pretty equal.
Bosh is better than I thought. I never payed much attention to him on the Raptors, I just knew he was their leader.
Because a game on Christmas means anything:lol: We always lose on Christmas anyway, even back when we had the shaq and kobe teams Overreactions for the win:lol:lol @ Lakers fans saying 3-peat. They'll be lucky if they make it out of the West.

 Lebron did a 1 on 5 fastbreak against all the Lakers. How can people even say Kobe's a better basketball player...the only thing he has now is FT% Lebron has a better jump shot nowbobcheeseball
until he proves he can do it in the playoffs which he hasn't yet Kobe>Lebron
Lebron has no excuses now that he has good teammates, I'll be laughing my ass off when the Celtics knock them out AGAIN

Michael Jordan once shot 9-25 in a game 7, no one says anything. Guess he doesn't get it done either
