Reminds me of what my friend who is a viking fan said. He thinks they should do a new years celebration in Minnesota, they could have a football goal post with a football at the top then have AP drop it.

I mean I think the Vikings have a great D and running game, but Favre has never beaten the boys in the playoffs. They looked very sloppy towards the end of the season when they were playing for something, its not like they locked it up for the rest of the year like the Saints and Colts did. Now I know they beat the Giants pretty handledly but I don't think the G-Men were a good team to begin with nor to me was it a win that you say "Hey the Vikings showed who they reallywere type of win". Its definately going to be a tough game, but the way the Cowboys D has been playing, I don't think Minn. offense is going to give the Cowboys fits. The Cowboys have arguably handledthe threehighest powered offenses in the league the past month pretty well, They held the Chargers to 20 points, the Saints to 17, the Eagles to a total of 14 in the past two. Oh and the Redskins to 0. To me all those teams I just mentioned are better offensively then the Vikings. We will see it is Brett Favre, it is at the Metrodome, and it is a very good defense. Can't wait for it.

edit: the Redskins are not a great offense and they are not better then the Vikings, just wanted to make that clear.

Agreed, I wasn't going to bring this up because it doesn't matter. That was during the '90's, this is a totally different set of teams. Favre did look pretty bad last time they played two years ago when he was having a similar year that he's having this year, but then again that was two years ago. I like the matchups for Dallas in this one, the receivers are similar to what they just faced but the Vikes will actually run the ball. If they contain Peterson, which they have done before and are capable of, then I think they'll win.

Everybody loses a game against an inferior opponent. Super Bowl 42 anybody? Look, it's obvious your man crush on Tony Romo and the Cowboys goes before forming an actual argument and I'm not going to change your mind no matter what I say.

I think convincing wins over the Saints, Redskins, and two dominating wins over who every analyst said was the best team in the NFC is a convincing argument.

I understand this I'm just pointing it out. Yet thats all everyone said about Romo and the Cowboys for the past 4 years, oh they haven't won in the playoffs oh Romo can't win because he never has. Just pointing out the double standard thats all.

Are you serious? The bears are terrible! Arizona is probably one of the most inconsistent ball clubs in the NFL. In my opinion they aren't that great either. Then you take the fact that they got blown out by the Panters a great team does not lose like that down the stretch. Especially against teams that are mediocre and have no chance at the playoffs, I'll let go of the Arizona game for now, but the Panthers and the Bears? Come on now!

If Jay Cutler can play well then the bears can win games he happened to play well against the Vikings. Arizona is a good team so whatever **** happens and the Vikes lost. They beat the Bengals and yeah theirs no excuse for losing to the Panthers. btw im not really even trying to argue with you i just hate the Cowboys so im just talking **** lol

Uh,que? You act like Dallas isn't playing good ball. Everyone is going to be a bit biased if their team is in the playoffs, but it's not like Dallas is playing bad and barely winning. They do have the #1 scoring defense in the NFC and #2 in the NFL and it's not like their offense isn't capable of putting up points either. How is that being SO biased to think Dallas will win?

Brett Favre gets his win against the cowboys. I won't be surprised if the cowboys win, but I think the Vikings have the pass rush to do the job. I think Adrian Peterson gives the vikings far more balance than the eagles have. I think the vikings receivers offer the vikings a better chance to have longer sustaining drives, where as the eagles are built around big plays.

A beatdown against an 11-5 team and what was one of the hottest teams in the league not named the chargers. Oh ....and they beat them 3 times this year. Played lgihtsout defense.

I'm a Redskins fan but never mention the skins this season as a convincing win since we suck.

They could beat the Vikings but it's gonna be a lot tougher, especially since the Vikings are undefeated at home.

I love how everyone is hating on Philadelphia, saying they aren't even that good, they never beat anybody, blah blah blah. Yeah, just two weeks ago I saw everyone and their mother talking about how they're the best team in the NFC and they'll be in the SB. Oh but since Dallas beat them twice and we got a bunch of haters, now the Egals are a joke.
