[QUOTE="Bobbles"][QUOTE="duxup"]Oh and side comment about the stat given at the half. One of the halftime show goons (I loath them) noted that the Cowboys only ONCE in their entire history have come back from being 14 or more points down at the half in a game.... wt? Really? I gotta think you accidentally would comeback from 14 or more in your teams history a few times...rockguy92
I thought they said in the playoffs, not overall.

I don't think I heard him say playoffs, but I'm sure that's what he meant.

Nope, he got it right. However, the stat is a bit deceiving. From the quick research I did Dallas has only come back once after ending the first half down by 14, but they have trailed by more than 14 later in the game and comeback to win.

Nope, he got it right. However, the stat isn't important. Yes, Dallas has only come back once after ending the first half down by 14, but they have trailed by more than 14 later in the game and comeback and won.

At least that sort of makes it seem like a less terrible / bizarre stat. Still you'd think they'd at least done that a few times..... man.

I'd have to look up how many times they've trailed by as little as 14 to see how bad it really is. I say it's still deceiving.

I see where you are coming from, but the competition in the playoffs is alot better then then during the season, so it really isn't that shocking that the Cowboys have only come back once after trailing by 14 at the half. It also could speak for the fact that all the other times that they were in the playoffs they where either leading or they haven't been down 14 many times at the half during a playoff game.
