Comments I'm reading on Facebook are just sad. I can somewhat understand Kaeding (he's been chocking in playoffs ever since) but Norv? Norv is a great coach. But the way I see it, if Norv doesn't attempt to improve, he'll be like Marty - Led the Chargers into the playoffs but never to the superbowl.

Kaeding is a good kicker but he can't afford to choke in playoffs. Niether should Rivers.

Bottom line..... JETS DEFENSE shut down the mighty Chargers offense and basically beat them up! Don't be that guy who blames SD... credit the VICTORS! Jets kicked SD butt.. plain and simple. When you have a top D and a top running game and play a PHYSICAL brand of Football like the Jets... it's really not that big a shock when they beat a 'Finesse' team. It's ugly... but it works!

This Is why having more then one team from the same league in one state should be banned. You get better fans in the process.

Yeah, I've made this comparison before.

First of all nobody cares if an opponent has choke artists on their team! Could care less how many FG's are missed or any other ridiculous excuse is made. There's no Apologies for Winning! Excuses are for the LOSERS! Should the Giants give the SB ring to Buffalo because Norwood choked on a winning FG? That FG argument is pathetic. It's like crying that your team lost because they missedsome Foul Shots. When you lose you lose. Go home and shut up!

The only comparison with the Giants 07 run.... is that nobody expected it to happen just like the Jets are doing now. As far as the D's go... Giants had a great Pass Rush.. PERIOD! It's basically why they won the SB. They could get to the QB with their front 4 and never had to use Blitzes. On the other hand the Jets have a mediocre line with Kris Jenkins out for the year... but they have very good Linebackers and a stellar Secondary.

Jets also have a Running game that's come alive with Shonn Greene who is on Fire! That's a pretty dangerous combo when you have a big time D and a Big time running game. It's smash mouth football and it's ugly football... but it's what can beat the more finesse teams. I'm actually shocked so many are surprised the Jets are doing this. They could have 3 or 4 more wins easily where they lost last second games this year. Jets could have been an 11 or 12 win team this season.

I think they are a year away from actually challenging for the SB... but right now who cares about that. They are one more big win from going to the Big Dance! Sports is all about getting HOT at the right time! Look at the Giants and Steelers SB runs! Sure it takes a few breaks... but you have to still take advantage! Here's some Kleenex for the SD whiners, excuse makersand Jets haters!

Pretty much restated everything I said earlier. I'm sure you're also aware that the Jets will lose if Sanchez is forced to win the game for them. They can beat Indy if they keep it low scoring like they did against SD. They just can't afford to get behind and take away their running game.Bobbles

Indy isn't exactly a high scoring team though. They only scored 20 points against the Ravens, and that's because they got breaks (ie the Reed knock out fumble, and the PI call on Reed's 2nd interception). Jets were doing pretty good with the Colts during the regular season game before they pulled the starters.

This game should be good.
