Here is the bottom line to me. Everyone said the Chargers offense is the best in the league.. at least statistically I guess. The Jets pretty much confused and shut down Rivers and Co. I think LT said the Jets were the toughest D he's ever played in his CAREER! That's pretty high praise. As far as this Sunday goes... in the Colts don't really have a good running game and it will all comes down to can the Jets D do enough to take P.Manning out of his rhythm and get him off his game? The Colts did put up 20... but their offense looked mediocre and stoppable. Ravens played dumb with bad penalties and ALL the bounces went the Colts way. If the Jets get the bounces sunday... and they can run the ball ... they have a chance. Not sure if they can pull it off... but for those still not taking the Jets seriously you need to wake up. I will say the Colts D is underrated and a pretty good unit in it's own right. They have good speed and pursuit to the ball similar to the Bengals D so I'm looking for some of those play fakes one way and the ball going the other way. I also think the Jets might need to pull a gadget play out of the bag and look for Brad Smith to lineup at QB in some sort of option formation.... but this time... instead of turning up field, he's going to pull up and air one out 60 yards down field..... where Braylon Edwards will DROP a TD pass probably! Smith was a good QB in college and I think he's a secret weapon that can change a game. UPSET SPECIAL.... Jets 23 Colts 20. Jay Feely Drills a 50 yarder off both uprights and through as time expires! J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!!! :)~

I think the Jets remind me more of the Chicago Bears who went to the SB a few years back when they faced the Colts. Tough defense, a QB with so many INTs and played so inconsistent, but sometimes showed flashes here and there, and they had a good running team to go along with their defense as well.

No. Nobody refuses to see the jets, it has everything to do with YOU and nothing to do with the franchise itself. Face it, look at the way you have been acting since the playoffs started, you and other jets fans. This is about not wanting to deal with annyoing jet fans and has nothing to do with the team. Hate is usally because of the fans not the team. I want the team to lose because the fans annoy me, so YOU give ME a break! And to think I actually supported this team, I only picked them to lose because I thought they were going to not because I wanted them to. That only changed after I came in contact with their fans, THEN I wanted them to lose. SO dont feed any lines about hating them, its the fans I hate not the team.

I'm a fan of the Chargers and I can take losses, especially if it's a team that the Chargers have been known to struggle with but Sunday's game was just a stab to the heart. Penalties, fouls, missed field goals, that onside kick, miscommunication between Rivers and Gates, and worse was Norv's attitude. He didn't care what happened.

It was just awful.

Chargers reward N.Turner with a 3 year extension! What a joke! He's so conservative and scared in these big games! Calling running plays was helping the Jets cause sunday. The onside kick was also a Turner HUGE mistake. But let's dissect what really happened in this game from both sides. First of all Rex Ryan out coached N.Turner who seemed to forget SD has no running game yet still forced the issue instead of airing it out. Chargers Kicker Nate Kaeding may be great in the regular season but he's a choke artists in the playoffs.... especially against the Jets.... since this is the second time he's choked.. and the second time the NYJ have beaten SD in the Playoffs. Were the Chargers unlucky with the missed FG's? Maybe.... but that's part of the game. What about SD taking DUMB penalties like a personal foul head butt or Jackson kicking the flag... which by the way is an AUTOMATIC penalty if you kick any flag on the field. And if we want to talk about getting lucky... the Jets were the unlucky one's if you ask me. They get a Fumble recovery... and after the review it gets reversed. That was a bogus reversal! That was a catch... 2 feet down.. and than BOOM.... FUMBLE! Garbage reversal. If the WR does that in the end zone or at the sideline getting the 2 feet down it's called a CATCH! There were also a few other fumbles where Rivers was sacked and fumbled and a kickoff return fumble where SD was lucky to recover! If the Jets get the turnovers the game isn't even a game anymore. As far as miscommunication goes with Rivers and Gates.... that's just the Jets Defense getting in P.Rivers head and him rushing his throws. That first INT was on Rivers because he panicked and had nothing on the throw. Gates also was guilty of a few drops because he "Heard Footsteps". It's easy to try and make excuses for why your team lost... but sometimes you just have to tip your hat to your opponent. Another knock on N.Turner is that the Chargers thought they had this game won before it even started. Way to cocky... and way to overconfident. When your playing a team with a good D and good running game... you can never get to overconfident... because it's the recipe for a smash mouth team to upset a finesse team like the Chargers.

What i didn't get was why LT? Last year when they beat the Colts wasn't it Sproles carrying the rock? I thought the idea was LT was just a spot RB who came in a handful of times? And like ^ said they should have been throwing more in the first place.

Yea it's great to boss other people around and act like a hotshot when the yellow vest you have on gives you unlimited authority. These guys got such a power rush.
