Washington @ Atlanta

Falcons may show up flat to this game due to an emotioal loss against the Saints. However, the Redskins offence is horrible. I can't see the Falcons losing this one. That said, it'll be close. 17-10 Falcons

Arizona @ Chicago

Chicago's offensive line had trouble containing the powerhouse Browns defence. Arizona's defence has improved a bit, and Cutler should get pressured early and often, resulting in poor passes. Warner should bounce back and torch the Bears secondary. 30-14 Cards

Baltimore @ Cincinnati

Ravens are favourites in this game, and around 3/4 of the public is betting on them (last I saw). Bengals excel ans underdogs. Their offence is the best in the division, and defence is underrated, and they've helped back me up after calling the Bengals a sleeper and underrated team going into the season. In fact, the Ravens are weak to the pass, so Palmer should have a great day. 24-20 Bengals

Houston @ Indianapolis

This is Houston's Super Bowl. The Colts are in look-ahead mode, and face the Pats next week. Under normal circumstances, I would actually pick the Texans to win here. However, this is Manning, and I picked the Fins against the Saints earlier in the season for the same reasons (Saints coming off emotional win against Giants, faced Falcons week after). 24-21 Colts

Kansas City @ Jacksonville

Two horrible football clubs. If De Rio actually gives the ball to MO-JO instead of holding out until five minutes into the second quarter, then they win. 17-7 Jaguars.

Miami @ New England

Belicheck is always great following a bye. He's had two weeks to study the wildcat and Henne. No way they lose here. 38-21 Patriots

Green Bay @ Tampa Bay

Do I really need to explain? Bucs are horrible, starting rookie Josh Freeman against an unfamililar 3-4 defence, and they only practed for 2 1/2 hours in their BYE week. Fail! 44-7 Packers

Carolina @ New Orleans

I can't see the Saints showing up flat against a divisional rival. Unlike last week, Delhomme will need to throw, and its not Halloween, so he can't dress as the opposing QB. 27-20 Saints

Detroit @ Seattle

Calvin Johnson likely not being in this game.38-3 Hawks

San Diego @ NY Giants

Giants have played flat against their three straght tough opponents (Saints, Cards, Eagles), they're somehow 5 point favourites and most of the public is betting on them, still convinced that they're a good football club. They also should've lost to the Cowboys, backing my statement ofshowing up flat against quality opponents.28-20 Chargers

Tennessee @ San Francisco

49ers have injuries on the offensive line. They're coming off an emotional loss against the Colts, and will be flat in this game. The Titans are fired up with Vince Young, who unlike Kerry Collins, shows up to games sober. 30-10 Titans

Dallas @ Philadelphia

Normally, I'd go against the Eagles here. They usually start to choke when the public backs them up, and rise when they don't. However, they have the Cowboys number lately, and Romo's choking styles may show up here. That said, it should be a good one 37-33 Eagles

Pittsburgh @ Denver

This may be the beginning of the end in Denver. Their RT is out, Orton played horrible against the Ravens weak pass D, and has shown he's a mere game manager. There are concerns about their aging secondary wearing down, and they could be doubting themselves after that blowout loss to the Ravens. Steelers are coming off a bye, and should beat the Broncos here. 16-7 Steelers.

Washington @ Atlanta (FINALLY the Falcons get an easy team)
Green Bay @ Tampa Bay
Miami @ New England (close one, I say the Dolphins at least have a chance)
Kansas City @ Jacksonville
Houston @ Indianapolis
Baltimore
@ Cincinnati
Arizona @ Chicago
Detroit @ Seattle
Carolina @ New Orleans
Tennessee @ San Francisco
San Diego @ NY Giants
Dallas @ Philadelphia
Pittsburgh @ Denver (another close one I think)

Well, the Steelers will shut down the Broncos running game, and now that their RT is out, they have an undrafted free agent blocking Lamar Woodly. Orton is going to have to convert third and longs, and he won't be able to do that against the Steelers defence. The Broncos secondary is old and can wear down the stretch.

Jackson and Maclin are are starting to become a fearsome tandem and Westbrook will be back. The Cowboys will be sorely reminded that their QB is average at best as he probably throws at least two picks.

Last week-7-6

Overall-71-45

Ravens @ Bengals-Baltimore's becoming one of those teams that's getting increasingly harder to pick, and Cinci was already one of those teams. Maybe last week was a fluke, but an impressive showing against the Broncos and the fact that Cinci won the last meeting by only three makes me think the Ravens get payback this week. Baltimore 24-17

Texans @ Colts-Man, this is a tough game to call. Both teams are very evenly matched, and I almost want to give the edge to Indy, but my gut says Houston. This is my upset of the week. Texans 27-24

Packers @ Buccaneers-This is a no-brainer, Pack comes away with it. Packers 35-13

Cardinals @ Bears-I don't have a problem calling this one in the Bears' favor. Kurt Warner is about identical to Cutler in terms of sacks and interceptions, and the Bears' and Cardinals' D are also pretty close to each other. Only difference is the run D, and neither team has a running attack that's been particualrly effective anyways. Bears 24-23

Chiefs @ Jaguars-Both teams are pretty bad on both sides of the ball passing, but NJD is the difference here. He can run and the Chiefs can't stop him. Jaguars 24-17

Dolphins @ Patriots-The Patriots cannot stop the run, period. Miami's better against the pass than New England is against the run, and that's the difference. Dolphins 28-24 GOTW

Redskins @ Falcons-Another easy pick. Falcons 27-20

Panthers @ Saints-I'msurprised at all the people crying upset, not this week. People seem to be forgetting that NO can run the ball this year and that the Panthers can't stop the run. Close game, maybe the closest for the Saints yet, but they still pull it out. Saints 31-24

Lions @ Seahawks-Another bad game for the Lions. Hasselbeck is going to pick them apart. Seahawks 27-17

Titans @ 49ers-This game's going to be a lot closer than it looks. The Titans finally got their running game going and the Niners' pass defense is weak enough for VY to be successful. The Niners' defense is stingy with points, though, and the Niners have a better QB. 49ers 24-21

Chargers @ Giants-This is going to be a good game. The teams rely on their passing game and are very evenly matched in that regard. Giants kill the Chargers running, though, and if they can stick to their running game they'll be able to pull out the win. This is my sleeper of the week. Giants 27-24

Cowboys @ Eagles-They're up, they're down, they beat the Giants, they lose to the Raiders. They're still thebest team in the division right now, though, and they beat the even more inconsistent Cowboys. Eagles 28-20

Steelers @ Broncos-There's a way to beat Kyle Orton and that's pressure, pressure, pressure. Steelers have the fourth most sacks in the NFL right now. Broncos have more, but Roethlisberger can play under pressure. Steelers 20-17

This is downright embarassing. Bears are allowing the last-ranked rushing tem to run for almost 150 yards in the first ****ing half, haven't stopped a drive or even held them to a field goal yet. On top of that, half our ****ing roster is going down with injuries. Somebody better get fired at the end of the season. I say keep the Special teams, receivers, and D-Line coaches and fire everyone else.

Tommie Harris going out doesn't help any, but I'm absolutely stupified at the playcalling on both sides of the ball. That reverse was an atrocious call especially when we needed to keep pace with the Arizona D, and personally I've been calling for Turner's head on a platter for weeks now. And why they didn't put a second back on Fitzgerald is beyond me. Warner's been going to him all day and beating them, they need to do soemthing about that. As for not stopping the run, there is just no excuse for that. We've been tackling like high schoolers for weeks, that's something the caoching staff needs to take care of. I like Lovie and I think he's a good coach when his players are playing well and his staff is doing a good job, but when he needs to get his team in line and when there are difficult decisions that need to be made about the staff he just doesn;t have the guts. It's always stay the path with him, everything's fine, it'll get better. It's not going to get much better, we can't fill all our defensive holes in one draft. We need to coach some of these ex-pro bowlers back to that status, and if Lovie can't do that he needs to be gone.

Part of what I love about the Chicago media, Cutler had over 300 yards and three touchdowns passing, but because of that interception they're going to say the loss is his fault.

I'll be greatly consoled, though, if the Pack drops this one to the Bucs.

EDIT: And what do they do the first play with Warner back? Fitzgerald. Pull your heads out of your rear ends, coaches.

I can't believe TB beat GB:shock: Chris Berman said TB would win, everyone laughed. I can't believe he was right.

I got 3 wrong (Houston, GB, and Baltimore) so far, not a good week.
