Well one game left to decide this series. It has been one hell of a series. We've had biting, taunting with fingers in faces, hits leading to injuries, tons of scrums, and interesting events for both goaltenders.

As a Boston fan I have lost respect for some Canucks players and gained respect for others. But overall I've enjoyed this series a lot.

I think he could've backed off as well. But due to the series it has been and that it was an elimination game I felt that he decided to "finish" the hit.

It was an accident. He got all twisted around, and unfortunately got backed in. The minor penalty was enough.

Thisis a good article about it. The writer is one of the best, well-respected refs in the game, Kerry Fraser. Retired last year after 37 years. He gives some good insight into it as a ref and what the office should and did do.

All the Bruins need to do is keep their emotions in check and Chara et al are lifting it up tonight. And with the best defense and goaltending in the league, thez probably aren't going to let that happen to them.
