[QUOTE="X360PS3AMD05"]If the Nucks won BEttmann wouldn't have been booed as much lolJohnBean42Not his fault that the Canucks sucked tonight. Classless. Then I think they were chanting "Bettman sucks". Bettman does suck,he should go back to the NBA.
Well, at least the one good thing about living in Edmonton is that you're completely safe from increased taxes from damage from riots, since the chances of us even making the playoffs these days is equal to having more than five months without snow. >_>
Classless Canucks fans. Booing during the presentation of the Cup. Show some respect to the team that beat your's fair and square.monkeytoes61
They were booing Gary Bettman, not the Bruins. Almost every NHL fan hates Gary Bettman, and he's always booed during the ceremony. Has been so for the last couple of years now, if my memory serves; this year was worse than usual, though, and I love it.

You're right. He was booed heavily last year when Chicago won as well. I am fairly certain he got his fair share in Anaheim as well. He's the worst commissioner around. And thats saying something with Goodell and Stern being real jerks.
HELL YES BRUINS! So Happy =D

They cheered Tim Thomas when he was receiving the Conn Smythe Trophy, and then didnt really do anything when Chara got the Stanley Cup, so i dont know what was going on.

I don't know when it started, but I know if the Devils ever win another championship while Bettman is commissioner, I'll be there to boo him, too. :)I agree with what is being said about Bettman, he single-handedly has done a lot of harm to the league, and he should have resigned after the '05 lockout debacle.
The tears by Kesler say it all...this was Vancouver's yearLos9090Gotta feel for Kesler, he had an amazing playoffs, but I'm pretty sure he was playing hurt near the end.
I've been waiting.. since I was about 2 years old watching the bruins to see us take the cup home... FINALLY! finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!fastrCeltics, Bruins, Patriots... and Yankees? I'm not taking the piss, but that sounds very strange to me. Nevertheless, I'm glad the Bruins one. They had an excellent run and Thomas was just unbelievable.

So I cheer for their rivals, although I really don't care who wins for that sport at all.
Also, what in the world happened to the Sedin twins? They were complete no-show's the entire series.
the sisters? they couldn't take the physicality of the bruins. Plus they were against Chara and Seidenburge most of the series.. so thats a pretty big challenge. Also, what in the world happened to the Sedin twins? They were complete no-show's the entire series.

I'm generally an Eastern Conference supporter of any sport, particularly hockey and basketball, but I live in Portland, Oregon, so I don't really follow the fans and their obsessive nature, but I could understand one's issue with the Red Sox fans being they're such a loyal group. Your avatar just threw me for a loop a bit. XD

YEAH KABBY, YOU FINALLY GOT IT!
A well deserved championship, I am incredibly happy for him, as many Leafs fans are.
gameeer1
He was pretty bad:P But 3 Leafs won last night: him, Kaberle, Rask and Seguin (I think of him as ours:P) Kessel is probably upset.
Once again, congrats to Recchi, goes out on top.
Very classless actions by people in Vancouver. Watching the videos shown on the news...just brutal. My uncle called this morning and said it was worse than it looks on T.V. Wow.

Er, pretty sure Kaberle was tied for tops in points on the Bruins D, and nobody seemed to appreciate some detail things he did on the ice either. And it wasn't like the Bruins did anything with Kabs quarterbacking the powerplay, sans the game 6 shot that was tipped in by Ryder I think. He was also +8, not too shabby if I must say.But yeah JFJ giving away Rask was terribad. :c
As long as Colborne proves himself and the draft pick isn't too bad, this trade will come full circle for us hopefully. Our parade is long overdue.
Great job by the Vancouver fans. I guess losing game 7 in the Cup Finals twice finally made them snap. Oh and ex players from your team winning the cup doesn't somehow mean fans of the sucky team that traded them get to get in on the celebration too. :P But I get the general drift.

Before the Final, it was the worst powerplay to ever get to a cup Final and he wasn't helping. Even the GM said they expected better. 11 assists in 25 games is..alright.I know that, but it is always nice to see a long-time member of the former team finally get his glory, not unlike one Raymond Bourque going to Colorado for a last chance after 20 years in Beantown. I am just saying Toronto's parade is long overdue, and the waiting around shouldn't be too long now.Great job by the Vancouver fans. A lot of teams fans think a parade is long overdue. Vancouver thought it was their time. Boston hadn't won a cup in 39 years I think. Ya never know when it's your teams time to make that magical run.ohjtbehaaaveWell I gotta say I am loving this surge of Original Six teams winning.
Absolutely gutted after that game last night but we were beaten fair and square. Fair play to the spectacular Thomas, deserved the cup and the MVP. My group of Canucks supporters and I wore our jerseys for probably the last time today to show some final support before we hang 'em up for the summer. Met with the usual "take that off, you lost lol" and what not but whatever. It was an incredibly exhilarating and enjoyable run with my friends even if it didn't end the way we wanted. And as for thhose rioters, they make us Canucks fans look bad, what a bunch of idiots.

Being a Rangers fan I hope this trend continues next season! But if it's not my NYR... I would like to see a starving franchise and loyal fan base like the Leafs win it. It's always sweet seeing it happen in a deserving, passionate hockey city.
This is what it will be like when the Leafs finally win. Mayhem! or agony if your a Canucks fan... again! lol

The ACC is gonna explode in sheer happiness, and I wouldn't be surprised if many people skip work to see the parade. And boy are there gonna be tears on everyone's faces.
From Toronto, love to see Vancouver get another epic fail. congrats to Boston.

Yeah, because Toronto has made consistent runs in the playoffs... wait... haven't they missed the playoffs over...and over?. Toronto fans act like their team has been dominating the NHL for years on end... lol.

No actually, we just hate Vancouver. It isn't like Vancouver came to be the team they are now overnight either.
And here's the thing... you never know when you're getting back to a Final like the Canucks. This was the Canucks year. They had the best team and most points by a lot... and didn't win it all. In 94 the Rangers were able to finish the deal as the top team in the NHL that year or they would still be starving for a Cup. Things change from year to year in sports with FA's, injuries etc... and you catch bad breaks. The Canucks might not get another sniff at the finals for over a decade. Ya gotta strike while the iron is hot.
And I get it with the feeling good for an ex player of your team... but in no way do I take any satisfaction or am I able to substitute their win like it's my team.
