Wow. What a series of events. The Devils are pissed about that "missed" call right before the Bernier's hit from behind. People's thoughts on this? I thought that the hits were much different (not as dangerous)and the correct call was made. I would also like to add that a championship team would've weathered a storm like that. Aside from giving up three goals to giving up just one. And that third goal was completely on Marty.

I can't believe the Kings: fired their coach, bring in Sutter to much controversy, have the worst offense in hockey, or thereabouts, fighting for the 8th spot all 2nd half, bring Carter in and almost traded their captain. And Doughty didn't sign till August.

Draft rumors :P Lots of talk T.O wants to move up for Yakupov, and Schenn is apperently invovled.
About realignment, I doubt there will be much talk about that. Gotta get the CBA worked out first and formost, and that divisions isn't really up to them.

Well, even though the Bruins lost it was nice to see a new team win the Stanley Cup. Have high hopes for the Bruins next year and congrulations to the Kings.
I think it's hilarious that the waste Sharks are now the only team in CA without a championship when they are always the most hyped of any of the 3 teams. The last couple of years they didn't get much hype, but for like the 5 years prior to that gosh they got a lot of d*ck riding. F*** the Sharks and their stink fans... remind me of Egals fan.

Coming home i was a bit worried until i saw the crazy girl screaming out of the car down the boulevard, then i saw a few fireworks going off, then i realized "maybe that's what those helicopters were about?" The cup is carried around in back of a Honda Odyssey? Thank you ESPN for finally talking about the Kings, then they go on to say "but how long will it last?" :roll: My brother said "You guys barely backed in as an 8 seed, what are ya gonna do?" Well hey as long as you get in you have a chance sucka! All the noise the Sharks made, freakin funny the Kings are the ones who finally win it. After blowing that game 4-0 in last years playoffs against them, Kopi going down with the broken ankle, knowing they should have pushed the Nucks farther in 2010 it's great to finally see this. Thanks Mr. Lombardi! Sutter! I wasn't aware yet that the "Tanner head" guy has passed away, as Bob said this is for all the Kings fans who didn't get to see it! :) Quickie! I remember when he first came up how good he was and wondered if he was going to be the guy to take this team deep, sure you need the team but the goaltender has to be able to step it up to elite level to win it all, it was frustrating at times but you knew he could be lights out! I know I haven't constantly posted here, as I did state my reasons for that recently (lol vidya games), but i really did follow the playoffs, and I actually finished 6th in my playoff bracket. Congratulations to the Los Angeles Kings on their outstanding performance in the playoffs to earn their first Stanley Cup. They did what Gretzky, Robataille, Kurri, McSorley, Hrudey couldn't do in 1993. X360, cherish this moment for the rest of your life. You're going to remember this one for a long time.
The ex Flyers on the Kings should get a parade route through downtown Philly with the Cup! :cool:
