The longer the Devils go without scoring, the tougher it'll be later on Quick. 0-2 on the PP, 0-14 in the series. Kovie looks...bad.
Been injured all series, and most of the playoffs with something nagging here or there. Wish he could just get healthy already.Kovie looks...bad.

Oh, and it wasn't a sweep. Huzzah for that, at least.

I know, but still. He looks invisible most nights. But I know playing injured is tough, but pretty much everyone is playing with someone by now. Some worse than others, and that might be Kovie.Bernier has to be the sickest man in America right now.-Halftime-I would so have loved to be in the locker room when the first period ended, just to see what was said.

Good job! Good effort! Not you Bernier, you suck! young Devil fans." Wow. What a run. What a job done by Sutter. Richards and Carter win a Cup...wonder how Homgren and Lavie feel bout that? Gotta give credit to the Devils. Made it a series, but in the end, just didn't have enough. What an excellent job done by DeBoer, having this team come out of nowhere.
I can't believe the Kings: fired their coach, bring in Sutter to much controversy, have the worst offense in hockey, or thereabouts, fighting for the 8th spot all 2nd half, bring Carter in and almost traded their captain. And Doughty didn't sign till August.

Another great season. Thank you all for a good year of hockey discussion. Off season fun in another couple of weeks. Swanogt19Ready for some lockout talk and Parise watch? Cause that's what this offseasons about. And the draft. Please let the rumors be true....

[QUOTE="JohnBean42"]All of the pieces fell into place at the right times. Yes, they sure did. Fighting for 8th really helped this team. Draft rumors :P Lots of talk T.O wants to move up for Yakupov, and Schenn is apperently invovled.
About realignment, I doubt there will be much talk about that. Gotta get the CBA worked out first and formost, and that divisions isn't really up to them.
I can't see much happening for the B's. They've already signed 3 people. I would like to our first round pick Douggie start on the D line. Swanogt19Please don't mention Dougie :( I want him more than Seugin.

You and Gamer are one of the few hockey fans that constantly post here.

Well, even though the Bruins lost it was nice to see a new team win the Stanley Cup. Have high hopes for the Bruins next year and congrulations to the Kings.
I think it's hilarious that the waste Sharks are now the only team in CA without a championship when they are always the most hyped of any of the 3 teams. The last couple of years they didn't get much hype, but for like the 5 years prior to that gosh they got a lot of d*ck riding. F*** the Sharks and their stink fans... remind me of Egals fan.

Are you like related to put_kitna(sp?) and the other posters that keep using that word collectively.
Congrats Kings! Diehard fan since the opening round.
Especially always hearing Barry Melrose falling at the Sharks feet with his predictions that they would win the Cup all the time.I think it's hilarious that the waste Sharks are now the only team in CA without a championship when they are always the most hyped of any of the 3 teams. Speaking of brackets, I think I only picked 3 series wrong all playoffs...2nd and 3rd round by the Devils and I said Bruins over Caps. I'm to lazy to check right now. And now it's the Blues and Leafs with longest Cup droughts...race is on!The ex Flyers on the Kings should get a parade route through downtown Philly with the Cup!

And I read an article that had the Leafs odds 12th or something to win the cup. 2nd best Canadian team.
What, does this guy think we draft Nail, get a goalie, get Nash/Parise? Cause that probably what needs to happen. Maybe a bit too much, this team was in 6th in Feb. if my memory is right.
4 points behind Pittsburgh for 4th place in the East at that point. And I read an article that had the Leafs odds 12th or something to win the cup. 2nd best Canadian team.
