Ralph Wilson has died. Sad to hear considering all he's meant for pro football over the years, even sadder that it may very well spell the end for the Bills in Buffalo.

@sherman-tank1: That bracket is a joke. Eli was leading Brady at a point too before the Patriots finally responded to the Giants' social media campaign. Although really the fact that Russell Wilson was seeded at all, even considering the fact that they needed 8 active QBs, was a complete joke. I don't care if he's got a ring, Romo or Vick should have been there in his place, albeit for what should/would have been a first round slaughtering to Brady or Manning.

@The-Apostle People will bitch and complain about the 'no fun league' and what not, but I don't really see what the big deal is. We've already had minor disruptions caused by the goal posts becoming bent and I could easily see how the league might want to play it safe and avoid the big hassle it would face if the goal posts completely broke or became unhinged.

Also sad news about Jim Kelly and his recurrence of cancer. Not a great day for the Buffalo Bills' franchise. Hoping for the best for Jim Kelly.

@sherman-tank1: Total joke. That bracket is more of a sham than those Top 100 lists.

I guess Graham can do a 2-pointer to the goal after the touchdown. Either that or flip off NFL. lol As for Eagles, wow. Good freaking job. *clapping* (sarcasm)

First the Eagles trade for Darren Sproles, which was a great move. Then they let Michael Vick go to the Jets and DOWNGRADE the position with Sanchez. Now they released D-Jax, who posted career numbers under Chip Kelly, presumably a knee-jerk reaction to the gang rumors. The Eagles clearly deserve the WTF moment of the offseason.

I have to imagine the Eagles know more about DeSean Jackson's "gang ties" than we do, it's the only logical explanation. Cutting a pro-bowl caliber WR just because some of his friends are gang members would be pants-on-head stupid.

They must be convinced that DeSean himself is about to be prosecuted for something big because otherwise that release makes no sense whatsoever. He's a bit of an egomaniac sure but he's never seemed like a troublemaker off the field.

I heard he's never actually been in trouble off the field.

EDIT: The Chiefs have pulled out of the DeSean Jackson sweepstakes due to Cap issues. The frontrunners are now the Raiders and the Redskins.

Danieal Manning cut by Texans. I'm not holding my breath that he'll go to the Packers. Someone needs to inform Ted Thompson he needs to bring in a decent safety.

Also, Carlos Rogers to the Raiders and Kenny Britt to the Rams.

Looks like a good move but I'm skeptical because usually whenever Snyder signs a veteran pro-bowler that means that player's gonna start sucking soon

A. Desean Jackson is a great acquisition.

B. I hope this doesn't continue the pattern of terribad FA signings by the Skins. Hope he's more "London Fletcher" then "Fat Albert"

C. It really is up to RG3 now. He has better talent around him now so no excuses this time.

D. I'm still not sold on the defense and special teams but we'll see.

Hell ya it is. Just need a decent line now too. I'm just fearful that the running game is going to suffer with a different offense.

Ya, no shit lol. Defense has done nothing to make me feel like there is going to be any change.

Was hoping that the Seahawks were going to make a run at him, but I should have known better. DeSean would never be okay with being the #2 in an offense that never throws the ball.

I don't think it's a matter of him being a "#2"..

A: The only receiver on the Seahawks better would be who? Percy? Doug Baldwin is quick and stuff, but Djax is a game breaker if he gets hot
B: Percy can't stay healthy long enough to ever stay a #1
C: Desean doesn't make his plays on 80-100catches. He does his damage in 60. He actually would be fine in Seattle's offense, and Russel throws a brilliant deep ball.

The larger issue is that Seattle doesn't need to spend Desean Jackson money, when they can thrive without him, and use that money on something more than a game breaker talent(which they already have in Percy).

@Dicksins talk: Eh to be fair to RG the other issue has to be his knee. Not to say he shouldn't be a better pocket passer, he should. That said he thrives on his ability to make plays with his legs and extend plays. It's like Romo and Roethlisberger could still make plays from the pocket, but what makes them more impressive as passers is stuff they do when they go free-form and the plays breakdown. RG made it rain in those situations. So he needs to be healthy, and stay healthy.

The Redskins have some serious speed at the skill positions. Garcon and Desean are capable of taking the top off a defense, Andre Roberts is relatively solid for a slot guy, or a third option(I think Garcon will take slot duties, kind of like this other dude in Arizona in some games). That tight end they had? reed was coming on strong late last year. They already have a capable running back, and a solid backup. If RG is more in line with his rookie season that's a scary offense on speed alone.

OMG I hope Stafford doesn't get hurt this year. 2 years ago we had the best back-ups in the league with Hill and Stanton. Now we have Orvlovsky and Kellen Moore?

Yeah....

If Stafford stays healthy and gets into his top form though at least that bad decision won't matter. Now we got 2 good WR's and Reggie Bush making for a pretty damns carry offense, not to mention there is speculation they might go and try and draft ANOTHER WR.

Really excited to see the Lions play this year! They have TONS of potential and with the new coaching we might finally see them live up to some of that potential.

It is funny because in Madden where they just have players play to their potential, the lions are INSANELY dominant. I actually just finished a perfect season with them yesterday and I am not some epic Madden player. It is the first football game I have owned in over a decade and I am still trying to work out my passing game. The players however do a good job at carrying my crapiness, especially their defense (which in the real world I feel their defense has been pretty damn good) which managed to be the best ranked defense in that season.

I am looking for the Lions to at LEAST take their division. They should have done it last year but totally blew it. They best keep their shit together this season....

Yep having Calvin is like having a cheat code. Madden 25 is so run heavy people run a lot of single deep safety cause they are scared of the sweep. That's a TD for me every time.

Having Bush is such a huge help. Man has climbed up to a 94 overall because of how much I utilize him! He took offensive player of the year in the season I just finished even with having only the 2nd best rushing yard. Calvin had the most receiving yards and broke the NFL record for most receiving yards in a season meanwhile Ansah went and broke the record for most sacks in a single season.

Love to rush the ball a bit, then BAM play-action pass to Calvin downfield and now I just picked up serious yardage.

Really not sure if there is a better way to play the Lions offense. Has been absolutely KILLER for me though!

Kuhn re-signs with Pack, Danieal Manning signs with Bengals.

Not sure WHY Thompson can't be bothered to sign a freaking safety. That position has been one of our biggest holes since Nick Collins. Why the **** can't Thompson replace him?

Owen Daniels to Ravens. I love how one of our stars gets a neck injury and Thompson doesn't do a damn thing to replace him. It's almost as if he's keeping their spot open for them to come back. >_>

@jg4xchamp: Sure, he'd be fine in the offense. But he'd never get enough production to satisfy himself. Either way, love the Seahawks offseason. Let the replaceable guys walk and save that cap space for the big three.
