[QUOTE="thequietguy"]You know we're all saving this thread for Sunday afternoon, right? You'll be a laughingstock, if you aren't already. 52-14. Have you lost your mind?LordMaiden

The laughingstock are the Brady haters who constantly downplay anything he accomplishes.

I cannot wait to see the responses this Sunday when the Jets are being hammered.

LOLOLOL what happened sir?

[QUOTE="bball_freak_2"][QUOTE="X360PS3AMD05"]I guess the Dolphins won't be repeating, changing of the guard in the AFC East, i knew it and it was awesome watching my brother storming out of the house :lol:Tjeremiah1988
All this after one game? Brady is still getting into things, Welker and Mayo were both injured, and the entire defence is rebuilding. "Changing of the guard"? No, sorry. The Pats aren't going anywhere.

I fount it funny the commentators kept mentioning Wes Welker being on the sideline when it would of clearly made no difference if he was playing or not..

I think he would have. Maybe not a huge difference because Edelman played like a Welker, but i think Brady would dump it off more often like he did against the Bills. No excuses though Jets straight up beat the Patriots in their mouths.

I just hope that people realize two things from this game. 1) Brady is not god like all the Boston fans think. He is HUMAN and after an injury like he had and the defense they have now, its not going to be some blowout for them with the AFC East. 2) That the Jets defense is and will be a force to be delt with. Last week they said the jets defense against the texas was not a hard win. Look what Texans did against Tenn. The texans are NOT a bad team. Now they shut the Patriots offense down with NO offense touchdowns! and if i remember correctly that included 1 or 2 red zone attemps.

I think the Texans forgot they had a game last week.

I don't think it's fair to call out Boston fans for praising Brady. The guy has three rings and broke records in 2007. At least we have the satisfaction of knowing the Patriots have accomplished great things this decade. Nobody can say that about the Jets.

so here you go again.. Im sure many Jet fans will consider the Pats getting owned yesterday a great accomplishment. I don't think it's fair to call out Boston fans for praising Brady. The guy has three rings and broke records in 2007. At least we have the satisfaction of knowing the Patriots have accomplished great things this decade. Nobody can say that about the Jets.

I will celebrate this win for the Jets. They played a great game. And I completly agree the jets have not had a player like Brady and I never said he was not a great QB, but people expected him to just hop back into the season and act like he did not almost have a career ending injury. Thats all I meant by how people need to not treat him like god.

I laugh over all of the comments made by people who take the game vs Buffalo and apply it to week 2, thinking a shaky start by a QB in the first half means anything. As if a QB can come back after knee surgery and not be rusty for the first half.

Now that Brady is back in rhythm, anyone who believes the Jets will keep this close is delusional. I don't even care about the defense. They were swiss cheese in 2007 but nobody noticed because NE would score 50 points a game. NOTHING HAS CHANGED ON OFFENSE SINCE THEN. Oh, wait, they brought in Galloway.

I would have to disagree with you all the way on the Wes Welker thing. If Wes was playing he probably would have caught the balls that the rookie didn't catch. If you think a rookie who was playing Wes Welkers position who has never played WR ever and who is tranisitioning from a QB from college is the same as Wes Welker than you my friend have no idea what you are talking about. You don't think the timing or expeirence that Welker and Brady have together wouldn't have changed the way the offense played at all Sunday?
