I could see STL go up 2-0, as Carp is better than Wilson, and Garcia is very good at home (when he gets to pitch more than 4.2 innings). I think one of them loses though.
I see the Rangers in 6.
Well, it seems the Cards will have to go against popular expectations. Master_LiveThey would be favored if their starting pitching wasn't so bad.
Rangers in 7!!! Hopefully they can get it done this year.flowersjf
Yeah, since my Giants won last year and I have no issues with the Rangers, I hope the Rangers win. I think they can do it in 6 games.
As the DH goes, with the NL is the same story: they can substitute the pitcher spot for their most capable bench bat plus can DH Berkman and have an upgrade in right field. Rangers have no problem with not having a DH, Napoli is their usual DH but he has been catching a lot so he will do that, Young plays 1st and Moreland goes to the bench.
They'll split the first two in St. Louis, and then the Rangers sweep all three in Arlington. Texas in 5.

Bold. I like it!
I love whenever Napoli does something, Jays fans are like "Oh my god, why'd we get rid of him, he's awesome and would have really helped." No...no he wouldn't.
Cards clinch game 1. And by the way, that ball hit the guy's foot so it should've been called foul...not out.wiifan001
Yeah, it's a tough pill to swallow, but sometimes the ball just doesn't bounce your way. Either way, I'd blame the loss on Wash for overthinking his pinch hitter situation in the 7th. Murph should have hit, Gentry or Torrealba should have pinched for Ogando. Easy for me to say, of course, with nothing at stake...
I'm a little late, but man, Rzepcynzki is amesome. Facing lefties or righting, no one can hit him.
What a comeback by the Rangers. Not good managing this game by TLR. Why pull Motte needing a K on a injured Hamilton? Why bring Lynn and not Dotel in?
Wow. Look at that interview by Bob Costas with Bud Selig. Costas is GRILLING Selig, very close to being disrespectful but I guess he is friends with the commissioner and so he can get away with it. My point is: you NEVER see this kind of hard, incisive interview with Stern or Goddell; specially in this "state of the league" interviews which occur before League's play their championships.
